I'm running Windows Server 2016, All Servers in domain obtain IP address automatically and DNS addresses are set manual: Primary DNS 172.16.0.1 Secondary DNS 172.16.0.2 I create a 3rd DC (172.16.0.3) and promote it as Primary DC (Move all FSMO roles successfully). Windows Server 2016 - DNS/AD problem Hi all - at one point our DC froze and we had to do a restart. It installed a lot of updates and then once it got up and running again we started experiencing problems with DNS, passwords, mapped drives etc - please refer to screenshots. Its as if the communication between the desktops and the server got out of sync somehow. Any idea what we can do please? Thank you

I'm planing to push out new Edge to the users in our domain but the GPO does not work. I have never had any issues with GPO before and we have used GPO for old Edge with no problem. I downloaded the new ADMX files, created the GPO and tried it on a test user, I also linked it to the test users computer OU but no luck. The test username is Edge and computer is HP125. If any of you guys has Server 2019 (Standard edition), and could quickly check whether the retail key unlocks the downloads on TechBench, that would be awesome. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7 I can see from the API that the downloads are now physically there, but I don't know which key can unlock them to make them available for download. Such a Server 2019 key is crazy expensive, and I don't really want to waste such amount of money for nothing... If it does work, Server 2019 could be added to the ISO Downloader.

Does anyone know if there is a way of slipstreaming RAID drivers onto WHS 2011? The reason I ask is I am using a cfg.ini file to install as my SSD is only 140gb (to get around the min 160gb requirement) so I don't get to the "Load Drivers" screen. I have tried adding a drivers parameter in the cfg.ini file and get an error, so the only other thing I can think of is to slipstream them in (if possible) Does anyone know if the Win Toolkit will support WHS 2011? Hi, in Win2k8 server I create a folder, and go to share it right click properties sharing tab advanced sharing permissions and see the "Everyone" group is added by default with Full control permissions. Does this group need to be there? Thanks

I'm trying to put together a template for 2008 Standard. I have some tasks that need to run after login, then the server reboots and it's ready for my customer. The only issus is that I cannot get the Autologon to work. The administrator password was set in the template prior to running sysprep and works fine when I login manually. I've place the following in the <settings pass="oobeSystem"> section under the <component name="Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup"... heading but it is not logging me in on reboot. What am I missing ?? How do I add 32bit XP printer drivers to my Win2K8 x64 server? I've followed a few how-to's on the web without success. I've tried adding the printer through "Print Management" and "Devices and Printers" On the 32bit XP machine I can browse to the printer but when It tries to connect it says the correct drivers are not available. I have to install SBS 2011 at a server with only a cd-rom. I have splitted the install.wim file with imagex into swm-files of maximum 300MB. The install8.swm has either 814 MB. This files does not fit at one cd. Has somebody an idea to solve this problem?
