ricktendo Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Universal Extractor Features: Includes updates and program improvements by gora, SendTo shortcut is on by default, Quick Launch only offered to Vista or bellow Download: Size: 7.55 MB Website: http://legroom.net/software/uniextract Gora: http://gora.7zsfx.info/addons Quote Introduction Universal Extractor is a program designed to decompress and extract files from any type of archive or installer, such as ZIP or RAR files, self-extracting EXE files, application installers, etc. The full list of supported formats can be found in the table below. It's able to support so many varied file formats by utilizing the many backend utilities listed in the credits at the bottom of the page. Please note that Universal Extractor is not intended to be a general purpose archiving program. It cannot (and never will) create archives, and therefore cannot fully replace archivers such as 7-Zip or WinRAR. What it will do, however, is allow you to extract files from virtually any type of archive, regardless of source, file format, compression method, etc. The original motivation behind this project was to create an easy, convenient way to extract files from various types of installation packages without the need to remember arcane command line switches or track down separate utilities to handle the unpacking. Over time, and with the encouragement of its many users and the fine folks over on the MSFN forum, it has evolved into a mature and very capable unarchiving utility that many, including myself, find indispensable. ricktendo Posted June 8, 2012 Author Posted June 8, 2012 Updatedtriddefs.trd (4757 File Types, 07.06.12)The UE script has be recompiled. There has been a change in the mode of the Updates server.triddefs.trd will now be downloaded directly from the site of its author, Marco Pontello. These changes should be invisible to the user. There maybe instances when using the Updates server that only one file, triddefs.trd, will be updated--build version of UE will not change in this case. RicaNeaga Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Thank you very much but the latest version keeps bugging me about an update. Anyone else experiencing this? Quote
ricktendo Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 Just update it once so it can add the lastupdate= ini line and it wont bother you Quote
RicaNeaga Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Maybe with the next update, when something new comes up, of course, that needs updating, you'll also make this ''useless'' updater issue go away. Thanks again! Quote
