A program is trying to access e-mail address information stored in Outlook message
If you are using applications that use Outlook for sending and receiving messages automatically you might receive the following warning message:
A program is trying to access e-mail address information stored in Outlook. If this is unexpected, click Deny and verify your antivirus software is up-to-date.
This message pops out if Outlook cannot detect antivirus software or when antivirus software is out of date. Unfortunately, this detection won’t work on Windows Server operating system so we’ll have to alter Programmatic Access Security.
To do this open Microsoft Outlook as an Administrator. This part is important or Programmatic Access Security options will be grayed out.
In Outlook click on File and Options.
Select Trust Center and then Programmatic Access.
In the right pane select Never warn me about suspicious activity (not recommended).
Your application should be able to send and receive e-mails normally now.
Please make sure that you have updated the Antivirus solution software on that server, especially now that we have altered Programmatic Access Security settings for Outlook.
