Asus has introduced a new VivoBook and ZenBook laptops at Computex 2017 in Taiwan. Both laptop variants will be powered by Windows 10 operating system. The premium ZenBook line will offer three new models; ZenBook 3 Deluxe, ZenBook Pro and a ZenBook Flip S convertible.
Zenbook Pro is the most powerful laptop from Asus ever featuring an aluminum body, 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor, 1TB SSD, 15.6-inch 4K multi-touch display and 11.5 hours of battery life. It will be 18.9mm thin and will weigh just 1.8kg. Graphics will be powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GPU and it will also come with a 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a Harman Kardon surround-sound and 14 hours of battery life. Asus Zenbook Pro starting price will be set at $1,299.
ZenBook 3 Deluxe will also feature aluminum body, it will be 12.9mm thin and will weigh only 1.1 kg. Asus claims that this is the thinnest 14-inch laptop in the world Starting price should be $1,199. Just like the Zenbook Pro, it will be powered by Intel Core i7 processor, 1TB SSD and 16GB of DDR4 RAM.
Customers that prefer cheaper models will probably stick with the VivoBook, but they will still receive very powerful machine even for $799, which is the starting price for the new VivoBook Pro 15. This affordable notebook will be powered with a 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU and it will be possible to upgrade RAM to 16GB of DDR4. It is worth mentioning that it will have a Harman Kardon speakers and a 4K UHD display.
The VivoBook S 15 is a 15.6-inch laptop which is a flagship for the VivoBook series, starting at $499, it will be equipped with a 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, upgradable to 16GB of DDR4 memory and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics.
Both Zenbook and VivoBook models should become available this summer.
