Microsofts’ PowerToys is a set of useful utilities that include File Explorer Add-ons, FancyZones, ColoPicker, Keyboard Manager, Mouse Utilities, Power Renamer, etc. All of these utilities can be helpful in the customization and personalization of the Windows experience.
Microsoft has just released an updated version 0.64.0 of its PowerToys app. The latest update now brings some new utilities including Host File Editor and File Locksmith.
Host File Editor allows you to edit your hosts’ files in Editor UI, while the File Locksmith allows you to see which processes are used by selected files.
Among many new features and bug fixes, the new PowerToys come with a feature that allows you to back up or restores settings from a file.

PowerToys app can be acquired from Microsoft Store or directly from the learn.microsoft.com web page.
If you already have the app installed, you can update it easily by navigating to Settings –> General tab, scrolling down, and in the Updates section clicking “Check for updates”.
