Even though Microsoft wants to supercharge its browser to get ahead of Chrome, in my view this change will just clutter and ruin the Edge browser.
Microsoft said that the idea is to give Edge customers a non-custodial wall which means that crypto holders won’t have to use third-party add-ins to store private keys and passwords for their crypto holdings. This project is a foray into cryptocurrencies and NFTs which is just a step into a safe and effortless experience with Web3 technology.
The crypto wallet is secured with a password and recovery methods in the case of a forgotten password. After the setup, you’ll be able to see your crypto assets, price trends, etc.
The company doesn’t plan to provide crypto for testing, nor to reimburse lost cryptos in unfortunate events during the testing process. With that said, continue at your own risk.
Integrations with MoonPay and Coinbase that would allow users to buy and send cryptos to other people are also in the plans.
