Windows 11 24H2 new Features and Improvements

The next big update for Windows 11, version 24H2, is expected to arrive soon, bringing a range of exciting new features. This update has been in development for quite some time and has already been tested by Windows 11 users for a few months. Here’s a look at some of the changes we can expect.

Some features in 24H2 will require newer Copilot+ PCs with the necessary hardware. However, even if you have an older Intel or AMD processor, you can still enjoy many new updates.

One interesting addition is a new feature that will appear next to the Start menu. It provides quick access to information from your phone, like recent messages, battery status, and photos. If you use an Android phone, this could make managing your devices much smoother.

File Explorer is also getting some improvements. You’ll be able to browse files on a connected Android device directly through File Explorer, duplicate tabs more easily, and compress files into different formats without needing extra software like WinRAR.

Another highlight is the Voice Clarity feature, designed to reduce background noise during calls. Previously, this was only available on devices with Neural Processing Units (NPUs), but it might now work on Intel and AMD PCs without NPUs, thanks to Microsoft’s optimizations.

Lastly, the Copilot app in Windows 11 is being revamped. It will now function more like a regular app that can be resized, moved, and even uninstalled, offering more flexibility than before.
