I can't reply to a closed thread, so I'm trying to elucidate a potential (unresolved) problem of your app. I can confirm that in the 51 beta build of 1.3.0 the cosmetic problem of the Intel chipset drivers beeing displayed as only x64 ones was resolved. However, this doesn't assure me that the real problem is fixed. The real problem was the drivers were slipstreamed (maybe it was because of DISM fault) as x64 only, so in a x86 environment they weren't recognised by the 7 OS, and weren't associated with the proper hardware (Microsoft 2006 drivers were the newest for at least 6 Intel chipset HWIDs). So, can you confirm that this glitch was also resolved? I'll also retest it…

Just wondering if there was a more complete point by point listing of what each item is, whats worth removing, and what really isnt worth bothering with. Or are the color listings and quick descriptions of each item considered good enough when choosing what to remove and what not to remove ? BTW, after digging around various forums looking for a good tool to slim down my win7 - I'd like to give major kudos to this tools creator ! This is very slick. TY

  3. The title says it all. I've got one usb flash drive (16GB, FAT32) and a USB 160GB hard drive (2 partition, one of them NTFS and the other FAT32 IIRC), and the program does not list any of them.

Hello, I have some doubts ... -When updates are applied to an image that already has previous updates, if any repeats, skip those that are equal to or above the reinstall? what is the best way to add new updatesto an image when you do not remember the updates that you added previously, or is itbetter to create a new image? -If you add a new version of an integrated driver previously, is updated or not installed? -When drivers are integrated into boot.wim image are added to Windows PE, WindowSetup or both? Thank you very much for this wonderful program... Congratulations... ;-) Sorry for my bad english... X-D En español: Hola, tengo algunas dudas... -¿Cuando se aplican las…

With respect to Kel's previous suggestion, may I offer another? Year.Month.Day Build Hour Where year is the last digit of the year Month and Day are the numerical representation Hour is the number in 24 hour format GMT Build Hour could be left off, and only added on those rare occasions that there is more than one release in a day. So a release now would be: 1.11.07 -or- 1.11.07 Build 16 To eliminate confusion with the current numbering scheme, begin this revised scheme on Jan 1st, ie with version 2.xx.xx. Just a suggestion. Cheers and Regards

    1. I have noticed an increasing amount of users using W7T at the same time as programs like vLite, RT7Lite, etc... Please stop it is causing errors. 2. Also someone seems to be translating my code into Russian, also please stop because when I recieve error logs I can't read or understand them so the problem won't get fixed. The translations themselves are causing errors. If I have to I will be strict: 1. Block W7T from running at the same time as other programs, for example force it to exit OR make it ignore those logs, possibly both. 2. Just have stronger encryption so it may become slower to load.

  10. Hi, I wanted to remove some components using the all in one tool in order to make the Windows installed size smaller, but I think it's even bigger than before (9gigabytes on a freshly formatted partition). This is what I did: 1- Mount image. 2- Remove all editions but the one I wanted (Professional) 3- Rebuild. 4- Open the all in one tool and remove the following components: #Components AppFrabic Australia Local Pack BitLocker Drive Encryption Broadcom Drivers Canada Local Pack Common Modem Drivers DVD Maker Great Britain Local Pack Hyper-V VMBUS Driver IIS Addons 1 IIS Addons 2 Inbox Games Indexing Service Internet Games Internet Information Services Microsoft XPS Docu…

  12. The way I would like to use W7T is to: Make a first pass with the AIO tool to integrate updates, remove certain components (that are never used: Tablet, XPS, etc.), and apply some common tweaks. This image would become the base for all subsequent images. Using the image from above, install basic software and system customizations in SysPrep - then capture the image. Using the captured image from #2 above, I would run the image through W7T, again, using the Component Removal Tool and, perhaps, make further tweaks, add drivers, adjust services, add themes, Gadgets, etc. with the AIO tool. Then, after applying Autounattend.xml, install the OS. My question is, is this an ac…

(I Always replace included Recovery, with MSDart one, which has more options, so this time tried to automate it)

I would like to have a multiboot (multi OS) USB stick which has my win7sp1 AIO in it. Sardu Multiboot DVD and USB builder makes it easily. copy your iso's such as win7sp1.iso, KasperskyRecovery.iso, ubuntu.iso etc. to sardu's directory and that's it. My win7sp1 AIO iso is bigger than 4Gbyte. Because of USB stick has to be FAT32, I cannot copy the win7.iso to the USB :ranting: Sardu and all other multiboot makers accept only one win7 image. :g: any idea's or help appreciated

HI there, i dunno if someone has run across this problem, but i know it happens when you try to install applications from a USB Windows 7 Install Pendrive. everytime the silent installer app tries to launch an exe, even with the /qn switch if applicable, it gives you on applications that are not from microsoft, the "open File Security warning", asking the common "are you sure you want to install/open this file". has anybody found a solution for this? Cheers. Edit: I Also found out that most drivers also didnt install by using a USB Pendrive. and the drivers are signed and compatible.
