This is just a quick tutorial to integrate language packs into your Vista Ultimate or Enterprise disk. You can use whatever method you are confortable with (I'd use vLite as it's just plain simple). First you need Exe2cab. Now take your language pack .exe and literally drag and drop it on top of the exe2cab program and click run when it prompts you. This will create the .cab that you can now integrate. 32 Bit Service Pack 1 Language Pack Downloads: Arabic Bulgarian Chinese (Simplified) Chinese (Traditional) Crotian Czech Danish Dutch English Estonian Finnish French German Greek Hebrew Hungarian Italian Japanese Korean Latvian Lithuanian Norwegian Polish Portuguese (Brazil…

Here are my working scripts for image capture, append, and apply. These have to be in the same folder as imagex.exe. Some features: *If you include setx.exe in same folder, it will remember your filename and paths if you were to close the command prompt and reopen the script. *Menu-like interface to make it easy to see what is being captured/applied and where to. *When capturing, it you specify a WIM file that already exists, it will warn you that it will append to that image. If the file does not exist, then it will create a new one. *When applying an image, if you choose a file name that doesn't exist, it will ask you to reenter the filename. This way, you won't have to…

How to Integrate Vista Updates This guide shows you how to integrate Vista updates to the installation source, which is install.wim. Much of the credit for this guide goes to FireGeier. His site contains a lot of useful visual guides for automating Vista installations. It is found here: FireGeier's Unattended Vista Guide. Although others have used peimg.exe, official documentation from Microsoft's WAIK is lacking. Therefore, methods described here use Package Manager. The only place peimg.exe is used in this guide is to create a text file that lists the packages that were integrated. Requirements WAIK tools (imagex.exe, pkgmgr.exe, and supporting files); you should leave …

Is there anyone or anywhere I can download all the newest Vista updates in one place. Trying to download the updates from Update Catalog one by one is getting old. I know Vista sucks but we still get people who come in and want their Vista machine worked on.

Hello Guys, Got a weird one for you. I can take a unmodded Vista wim file and use package manger to slipstream updates and when you go to install Vista, it will freeze up between each stage til the files start copying. I mean at the product key stage it locks up for 2 min....next screen to choose you version...it locks up for 2 min...next screen pick the hard drive...locks up for 2 min....press delete partition...locks up for 2 min. If I install a non modded wim, of course nothing locks up. I am slipstreaming 151 updates all from Microsoft Update Catalog. I even used the new Windows 7 tool and Vista still freezes up between each screen till file copy starts. Like the …

I can not disable the User Account Protection in "automatic". In fact before making any unattended procedure is the first thing to do for the proper integration of software and tweak later. In fact in manual mode by clicking on the reg key on the UAP is turned off Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System] "EnableLUA"=dword:0 But if that key, try to run it in safe mode or self file via the bat does not turn off UAP. Any suggestions in that regard? THANKS
