ricktendo Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Hold 'Em (English)Info: This is the Hold 'Em that was successfully repatched for alky by our friend AMIRZ (thnx). It includes Alky for Applications and it already installs unattended with the data.bin (thnx to kontini for this) that is necessary for the Windows Ultimate Extras and Alky.http://www.mediafire.com/?zyececahpkylalcMD5: 756D0EA2F64C93A9D45BFAA5D84EF7E9Size: 14.8 MBWebsite: http://www.wincert.n...?showtopic=4069Ultimate Sounds (English)Info: Includes the Ultimate Extras sound shemes from Vista: Microsoft Tinker, Glass and Pearl. ricktendo Posted November 2, 2008 Author Posted November 2, 2008 Extract the sound pack and change the following in ultsound.infParent = UltExtrasToParent = AccessUtil ; Accessories and UtilitiesSo it will no longer be dependant on Hold Em Quote
Guest Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 hello ricks back to my questions this install Data.bin it seems to run Holdem Only what about other stuff does i still need my own Data.binor modify the Install Files to install my own Data.binalot of questions plenty of time to answer thx for the addons and waiting for the answers Quote
ricktendo Posted November 2, 2008 Author Posted November 2, 2008 skrell, instead of AccessUtil use AccessTop (you will find these in ACESSOR.INF in your XP CD)That will put it in Accessories and Utilities->Accesories in add or rem windows components, the first would have just put it in Accessories and UtilitiesDaRk you can use 7zip archive splitter to un-compile the 7zip sfx and edit the config.txt and then recompile it Quote
zilexa Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 (edited) Would it be possible to just extract all the .wav files to the Windows\Media folder (perhaps in subfolders, a folder per scheme) and run the inf file for the reg entries? This is the way I have always integrated vista sounds (I remove the original sounds). Edited December 3, 2008 by zilexa Quote
ricktendo Posted December 3, 2008 Author Posted December 3, 2008 Sorry, only direct integration supported Quote
zilexa Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 (edited) I noticed the sounds used when you select the default scheme, are totally different from the original Windows Vista soundscheme I used. (from the link in my previous post). Can you add these to your addon? I tried adding them but it got kinda messy since in that pack, those sounds are also set as default sounds :S Edited December 6, 2008 by zilexa Quote
ricktendo Posted December 6, 2008 Author Posted December 6, 2008 Sorry z, not much time to sort them out and remake it (BTW the sounds I use are the original from Vista) Quote
zilexa Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Never mind, I figured it out will post later, you can use it if you want. Quote
ricktendo Posted December 7, 2008 Author Posted December 7, 2008 If you look in txtsetup.sif you can see what sounds are what, these are the ones you will have to replace:XPBalln = "Windows XP Balloon.wav"XPBatCrt = "Windows XP Battery Critical.wav"XPBatLow = "Windows XP Battery Low.wav"XPBlkPop = "Windows XP Pop-up Blocked.wav"XPCrtStp = "Windows XP Critical Stop.wav"XPDef = "Windows XP Default.wav"XPDing = "Windows XP Ding.wav"XPError = "Windows XP Error.wav"XPExcl = "Windows XP Exclamation.wav"XPHdFail = "Windows XP Hardware Fail.wav"XPHdInst = "Windows XP Hardware Insert.wav"XPHdRem = "Windows XP Hardware Remove.wav"XPInfBar = "Windows XP Information Bar.wav"XPLogoff = "Windows XP Logoff Sound.wav"XPLogon = "Windows XP Logon Sound.wav"XPMenu = "Windows XP Menu Command.wav"XPMin = "Windows XP Minimize.wav"XPNotify = "Windows XP Notify.wav"XPPrint = "Windows XP Print complete.wav"XPRecycl = "Windows XP Recycle.wav"XPRestor = "Windows XP Restore.wav"XPRingin = "Windows XP Ringin.wav"XPRngout = "Windows XP Ringout.wav"XPShutdn = "Windows XP Shutdown.wav"XPStart = "Windows XP Start.wav"XPStartU = "Windows XP Startup.wav" Quote
