  1. The best thing to provide would be BAT files for removal of files. Dont think the forum rules allow posting of Microsoft files directly except linking to Microsoft servers. The user has to download iso using Techbench or ISO Downloader, mount install.wim image using a tool such as GImageX, and then perform the removals themselves via bat files. I have archived some removal bat files over the time, linked: https://sites.google.com/site/webuploads7373/win7minification BAT File Removals: dead0.rar Jeronimo-Dead0-Scripts-Batch-ORIGINAL.zip jeronimo.rar liquid.rar mackyreddy_Micro7_BatRemovals_V7.zip DISM Components Removal LIsts: Jeronimo packages.xls Liquid0624 7packages.pdf scribd Win7packages_dism-vs-vlite (based on jeronimo).pdf Perhaps we could compile them into a github (forums get too messy)- and then all commit and add components and notes via github files and report findings in github issues. Here are some good guides i've found using RT 7 LIte: https://winreducer.forumotion.com/t23-slimmingdown-windows-7 https://web.archive.org/web/20130530000931/http://www.rtwincustomize.net/web/index.php?/topic/7146-components-to-keep/ https://msfn.org/board/topic/157337-rt-7-lite-components-removal-explanation/ https://msfn.org/board/topic/133491-windows-7-keep-list https://msfn.org/board/topic/134863-windows-7-vlite-deprecated

  2. SSUs are permanent updates, Deep clean do not remove them (the 3177467 v1& v2 was exception) KB4490628 is still needed because it's SHA1-signed, and contain the infrastructure to process SHA2-signed updates KB4474419 is also needed to recognize SHA2-only updates KB4516655 is SHA2- only update, it cannot be installed without KB4490628 and KB4474419

    My Setup

I didn't know about KVM. Just googled it to see what it is. You don't need that thing to control up to four computers. I just use Microsoft Garage Mouse without Borders http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?id=35460

  6. Both addons works for Both Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 but the Full as noted, require enabling .NET 3.5 Framework in Windows 8/8.1, because Managed Code relies on .NET 2.0 (part of 3.5)
