  3. Yes, I've changed RAM for few IBM laptops at work, but it's so easy to order the wrong one. My boss is ordering laptop memory and often make mistakes :thumbsdown_anim:
  4. I never tried this. I'd give it to authorized service center to replace the CPU. I think that you should contact them for any upgrade you want to do..
  5. Link is dead, can anyone upload it again guys? :notworking:
  6. No matter, the most important thing is that we understand each other
  7. Welcome noob, hope you'll like it here..
  8. I was mainly hanging out at MSFN.. After some period of time I met MSFN admin xper when we realized that we are from the same Country, although he is living in the Denmark now. We have met several times when I told him my wishes about having my own forum, but I didn't know much about it then. He helped me with everything needed for my own site and I thank him once again in this way. Before I started my own site I was SMOD on MSFN and I'm member of the Patrons group there now :icon_rolleyes:.
  9. LOOOL cyg, where did you found that squirell :thumbsup_anim:
  10. @Mr. Thunderbird If you didn't cheat then congratulations! :sweatingbullets:
  11. I can imagine the look of a squirell from the story.
  12. Dirt, whenever I saw your post on Wincert, I remember that evil, demonic, attack squirrel of death. :lol: I remember while I was on my vacation this summer and was reading that story, I was laughing like crazy, almost started to cry from laughter.

  17. Hey guys, my friend asked me to recommend him one solid and cheap router. Of course I'd recommend Linksys as I'm using it and I'm very satisfied with it's performance and features. Unfortunately she's not familiar with router setup and would like something good and simple. Now, I found a NetGear WiFi Router WGR6t14IS in one local computer shop and thought that this would be the right choice for her. I'd like to know what kind of admin interface this router has, is it highly configurable, protection etc.. If no one replies, I'll believe to the info I got on NetGear web page.. Here's the link to the router: http://www.netgear.com/Products/Routersand...ers/WGR614.aspx
  18. Yeah! Wolf made those flags. I must admit that I like 'em a lot :icon_cool:
  19. Far Far away from you guys. Over the big pond...To be precise, I live in Staro Cice, a small place located about 25 kilometers from the capital of Croatia. It's a peaceful place with less than a 1000 natives. P.S. Bold, choose your country from your profile so you can have a shiny flag of USA in the left pane :icon_rolleyes:
  20. Well, it's been one year since WinCert.net changed to a new forum structure along with Joomla. One long, prosperous year. Many new members have shown up here at WinCert.Net since the new forum structure came into play. We are currently sitting at just under 3000 members. That's an amazing growth in one year. One year ago, WinCert.Net switched to Joomla and introduced a new forum structure. In doing this, new members started joining. The new structure was easier to navigate and find a good spot to post questions. Here at WinCert.Net we strive to help you with your computer problems, Windows customization and addons along with third party application support. We will continue this tradition as long as we are here on the Internet. We hope to help you with your problems and get them solved as fast as possible. We have a very knowledgeable staff on the site to help you with many different problems. We would also like to thank Bold_Fortune for joining the forum and posting his many years of dedicated work on slimming down Windows XP. Read through his guide and just see how much information is included in his guide. It's an amazing, very well documented masterpiece. To show you all our success, I'll attach the screenshot of our statistics from the time we passed on MSFNHosting: So on that note my friends, I thank you for your continuing support and hope you all enjoy many more years to come here at WinCert.Net. -Thank you, WinCert.Net staff
  21. I'm glad we have a dedicated forum here for your Guides mate. Thank You.

  22. I'm using VMware at work and IMO it's better than Virtual PC. Although Virtual PC is great also..
  23. I'm really not sure if I'll have to adjust this or it will work by default. If you'll have trouble with posting just let me know, we'll fix it. I've created the forums and gave you moderator permissions for it. Please check it and let me know if I should change something..
  24. Start --> Run --> services.msc
