The Vulcania watch was inspired by Captain Nemo's fictional home, Vulcania. And while our limited experience on the high seas doesn't allow us to appreciate the mechanical allusions to their fullest, the deep nature of the face allows for a 3-dimensional view that even our landlocked perspective can appreciate in a plebeian way. Rear sapphire paneling allows your wrist a another view of the mechanics and the side portholes are a great touch, too. But with only 11 being produced in the world, it's doubtful any of us will sea one (get it?) in person. Source: engadget
