  1. Try to run this in your command prompt.. regsvr32 oleaut32.dll regsvr32 jscript.dll regsvr32 vbscript.dll regsvr32 msxml.dll regsvr32 softpub.dll regsvr32 wintrust.dll regsvr32 initpki.dll regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll BTW, are you using Symantec Anti-Virus? Also, please check the event log and tell me what the system is complaining about - not being able to start BITS, so I can investigate....
  2. Try to erase this directory: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\downloader Let me know if it works..
  3. Van Damme LOL, I'm downloading it now, can't wait to see and find out who was Van Damme
  4. I've found this on YouTube and can't believed that I found it... It's a movie from my childhood and I adore it
  5. Guess it will be some improvements from the Vista OS. Similiar thing like it was in the past with Windows 98 and Windows 98SE. :confused02:
  6. Happy Birthday to Brian aka Cygnus.. Enjoy your day matey!
  7. I need to make a script that will connect through SSH with Putty or WinSC application to a server which is in Germany. Basically, one server is in Croatia and another is in Germany. When I make a connection to that server, I need to copy contents of one folder to Germany and back. What is the best way to do that with Putty or WinSC. A log would be also needed for this..

  11. Stolen again, we should protect directories... http://gfxwars.com/index.php
  12. That's not an option, you're accessing your host machine just a any other machine in your LAN, by using UNC path to the share or admin share.
  13. Only in the way that you connect to your host machine by the means of network.
  14. I had cracks in sound when I was copying something over the network. I thought it was a sound card or network card and I couldn't find the 'cause for a long time. Then I realized it was a RAID0. It may sound unbelievable but when I've reinstalled my PC without using RAID, there was no cracks anymore..

    Hi all...

    Welcome to forums mate..

    question

Depends if you want to upgrade or not, I'd stick with the new socket 939 Mobo since it supports 64bit AMD processors. If this board supports and I presume it does, PCI-E slots and DDR2 memory than you don't have to think twice, stick with it. 50$ really isn't much for a new mobo, but then again choose a good manufacturer, don't buy something wild. Go with Asus, Gigabyte, DFI...
  18. I've found the way, first post edited.. :thumbsup_anim:

    question

Which mobo are you trying to replace, can you give me a model name? Also which AMD CPU do you have and why would you want to trash it/sell it ? You'd rather buy Intel's dual or quad core processors?
  20. That is a very good deal, a laptop with these specs costs here about 1000
  21. I don't think that Vista rating is a real index of your machine performance. For instance I have a Corsair DHX XMS2 DDR2 Dual Channel at 800MHz and by Vista rating this memory has the lowest score of all my components Your laptop is a real beast and I wouldn't worry about some Vista rating..
