  1. Not sure if there is anything i can do about that, i know it doesn't happen on Windows 8. @Everyone I'm about to release v45, however Mediafire doesn't work today so it will only be available via WinCert.
  2. I re-install every 3 months or so, but half way through that i clean my system by removing junk, software i don't use, startup entries, etc...
  3. I've sent an email to McRip he said he will do when he has some spare time
  4. What else do you add to the list, if you look in your WinToolkit.exe folder can too please attach your Last Session.ini and Errors.txt if you have one? Thanks
  5. Feel free to try the latest test version to see if it looks any better: http://wincert.net/leli55PK/Testing/
  6. Also do you guys get this error every single time your run the Toolkit? Can you please try the latest test version: http://wincert.net/leli55PK/Testing/
  7. Thanks, these should be better for you in the next release
  8. My email address is on my profile page.
  9. I'll give that a test when i'm at home, thanks. McRip, what type of drive is your install.wim stored on?
  10. Since no one is responding to this i'm going to unpin it and assume everything is 100% ok.
  11. but i'm not the admin of wincert.
  12. "R:\Win\SOURCES\install.wim" What is R:\ is it a USB, partition, HDD, Network Map? If its network, are you connected via LAN or Wireless?
  13. For some reason i can't find or detect the registry key which changes to add this tweak. Some people have suggested 'Shell Icon Size' in WindowsMetrics key, however that doesn't work. I've tried recording the requested to see what's changed when i change the size via the context menu but nothing gets changed.
  14. It's the program i use to protect the code, sometimes i forget to untick a box. It should be 9MB, i can compress the .exe to 5MB but then the 7z file will also be 5MB instead of 2-3MB..
  15. 1. Which email address did you send it to? my hotmail or btinternet one? 2. Is that feature already available in Win Toolkit but just not working? You put it in the request forum so i assumed you wanted it to be added and not fixed.
  16. You can't really make a components keep list, the things i remove a different everytime depending on the scenario however for when it comes my laptop i just tick what I know i won't need so nearly everything gets ticked. About updates, Win Toolkit passes them to DISM (DISM.exe /Image:[MountPath] /Add-Package /PackagePath:[FileName] and then lets DISM handle them, it will most likely use something close to method B and install the updates during Windows installation. Win Toolkit will integrate updates, drivers, etc... first and then remove things you have selected so add first then remove second. That's just to make sure nothing gets added back.
  17. It may be a tweak, i can't imagine rebuilding affecting the end result.
  18. Fixed your post #12 issue, anything else?
  19. Did it work?
  20. I was planning on allowing users to delete anything else apart from those on the links.
  21. These links are the closest information i can find about which fonts to keep. http://www.ampsoft.n...wsMacFonts.html http://www.codestyle...edResults.shtml
  22. I can display a popup 10 times and some people will still do it. I'd rather just have a list of needed fonts and have Win Toolkit list everything else. EDIT: Closest thing i can find is here: http://www.ampsoft.net/webdesign-l/WindowsMacFonts.html
  23. The reason i ask if there's an easy way to tell fonts are needed, the reason i ask is because i wouldn't want them to be shown otherwise people will delete them unknowingly that they was needed.
  24. Did you get an error log? Check in the same folder as WinToolkit.exe If there's is a log, i need the information within that log to finally fix this error.
