Does it install fine without that driver?
-
I'll make it update autounattended if one exists with the new names too I'm assuming you extracted the file from the .exe? What happens when you try and update it?

1. I never install in an order, by default they get added in alphabetical order. 2. I always makes sure IE9 is first though if i integrate it. 3. Yeah i think, i don't really use the additions 3. If they are cab files then add them in the same as MSU files, if they are .exe then try and open them with 7zip and extract any cab files within them. Again, i don't really use the additions that often.

Whats in the Temp folder? it's usually located at C:\W7T\ EDIT: Try build 82. I think you may of had a mounted folder in the above folder.

They seem easy to implement, i'll give them a go but not right now

not sure, i'll see if i can add it. Just curious when searching online about it. It only mentioned x64? is that correct?

I will have a look, thanks. EDIT: Fixed.

Hmm, theres probable a registry entry somewhere, i'm going to move this to the requests forum so i can add a way to make a default theme via W7T.

Sorry i didn't see this thread, are you still having this issue with the new v81?
-
Bump
-
I'll see what i can do, no promises though. I've tried this sorta thing before and requires quite a bit of effort. UPDATE: Just bumping this thread so i don't forget about it.

As you can see i have made massive changes to the USB Boot Prep tool, with extensive testing. Here is what i have changed so far Can pick up all USB Drives even with no partitions/volumes Pick up multiple partitions Much faster detection of USB devices when you plug them in Colours (Green = Bootable, Yellow = Not bootable and Red = No partitions More efficient and less error prone code so those who could not pick up devices before can now see them Use WMI to detect devices and not diskpart (caused a lot of problems) Added refresh button just in case your usb insertion was not picked up Each USB device has it's own group so you can tell which USB stick you are going to work on. Should be compatible with XP Form is resizable Most importantly i've managed to slim down the code by A LOT. The tool works perfectly at the moment as i've done some extensive testing. However the actually preparing the USB drive still uses disk part which will not work on XP and i need to update that part of the code. What i need from you guys Since i'm doing a lot of work on it, you guys a free to submit ideas about the tool in this thread. Also some testers would be nice

Pause button is a request and is in the wrong place. Prepare drives it useful for graphics drivers which have compressed files for example *.DL_ and w7t will expand it so it is *.DLL, this needs to be done or they won't be integrated. @Everyone, I have re-programmed a massive amount of code in the USB Boot Prep so that it uses WMI and not disk part, there is definitely a lot less code than before, it's more efficient, about 1000 times faster at detecting drives (half a second). I just need to program the actually buttons which prepare the USB sticks to use WMI also instead of diskpart. Advantages: Much faster More efficient XP Support (i hope) Should pick up more USB devices across all languages. Disadvantages: None.

As kels said, those 3 updates appear in Windows Update because you did not include those items to be integrated. P.S. I moved this thread from the request forum as it's not a request for a feature, etc...

When i start v1.4.0 i will no longer be using stuff like ALPHA, BETA, RC, FINAL, etc....
