Ahh so the problem was how the unattend is arranged, at least we know what was causing it! Does anyone know how to make it display the serial key if you have used a different Default key?
-
Dont worry about it, thanks anyway
-
the default key in the one i uploaded was for Ultimate maybe a <WillShowUI>OnError</WillShowUI> will fix it, i wouldn't know lol
-
Did you select Ultimate?
-
Have either of you had chance to test it to see if it works with x64 now? Thanks guys!
-
relax its just to test if it picks up x64 settings in the file, i just made a random file...
-
I'm guessing for that unattended you have AnyCPU set on Unattended Creator, can you try the file below please? I can't test x64 in VirtualBox for some reason :S

Hmm, well i never tested x64, i might give it a go now..
-
For those x64 have you ever, either before or after you merged them used AIO on them which included 'apply unattended'? For some reason they are using the first ever unattended file applied to them. For example, if you have applied an unattended file to an image and then update the one on the DVD root, it will only use the one built into the image originally.
-
apply method actually used dism to apply unattended file to the image itself, but ive changed it so it just copies to the dvd root.
-
I didn't see anything except the user creation screen, the only difference is mine was a fresh image and i only copied and pasted the autounattend.xml file to the dvd and made the ISO. EDIT: Yeah it only seem to not work when you have applied a previous unattended, i might program W7T to any integrated unattended files.
-
Right guys... try a fresh image, make a unattended in W7T and save it to the dvd root without using any of the apply unattended in W7T, see if that works please
-
@Etz, i tried that unattended and it worked fine with me, however i didnt use the AIO apply unattended, i just literally coped and pasted it to the DVD. there is a topic for that, so i'll move your post. This topic is basically just to get what is currently in W7T working even though it works completely fine for me.
-
Can you attach the unattended file of W7T and also attached a working unattended but without any extra details like partitioning, it possibly is ordering as i've recently been asked to change it. P.S. I've also got a feeling the using the 'Apply Unattended' features in W7T is having an effect on this aswell and i may simply just change them so that they just simply copy it to the dvd root and not integrate it into the image.
-
What happens if you use W7T and then just manually save it to the DVD root, without using the AIO Apply Unattended for WIM Manager one either?
-
Which tool did you use to copy to DVD root? AIO/ WIM Manager? i always tend to just copy and paste it manually lol.

W7T Freezes on WinSXS\\Backup and removing speech

v69 has the changes and more. Sorry for the late reply, i was watching a film -
Where does the setproductkey.cmd go, on the DVD?
-
WOW it's been a busy weekend, just going to do a final test with the component removal and then i'll release the next version. There's been so many changes (background) for example W7T will take ownership of files via code instead of icacls and takeown.exe which is much more stable, fixed a few unattended bugs, just fixing things in general. EDIT: Component Removal seems a lot quicker...

I've removed 'Skip User Creation' and W7T will only add the administrator account if that account is selected for auto-logon..
-
Is that a yes or no to the auto add 'Administrator' to 'Users' list if Skip User Creation is checked?
-
yeah i've just discovered that maybe i should make Skip User Creation add that entry in the users list if one isn't entered? EDIT: Surely their is a big security risk of using the administrator account, i can't imagine there being any benefits?
-
I've managed to make mine fully silent, Skip User Creation only works in Vista apparently, but if i create a new user via the 'Users' tab the installation is 100% silent.
