ISO maker option to split image over multiple DVD/CD's
Legolash2o replied to ricktendo's topic in Win Toolkit Requests
I've already got one, although i wish i could draw to make a better one -
It looks for System32\Dism.exe You can temporarily run W7T.exe /SKIPOSCheck to bypass the checks v26 released. *better XP/Vista support, it should not prompt Win7 only if dism is found. *Missing files for drivers are written in a separate log "Driver_Errors.txt", i received a lot of error logs just for a missing driver file and it annoyed me cos i can't fix it

A nice icon for what? That is a nice icon -
v1.0.2-25F has been released. For some reason W7T tried to integrate an Language Pack for IE into the boot.wim as it though it was a proper Windows Lang Pack
-
Sure, i'll do that now.

Good idea ricktendo Approved... -
This wasn't a big issue has been fixed. They problem was that it had finished detecting dvd folder, i just forgot to add the code that removed "Detecting DVD Folder" i.e. lblStatus.Text = "Done"; v1.0.2-24F has been released fixing quite a few bugs.

Fixed a bunch of bugs with AIO Integrator, hope it now works
-
Just an update for v1.0.3 which i've started working on. Silent Installers will be on the AIO Integrator and can integrate with each image (the setup files on the dvd so wim wont get bigger). You can make it install programs like 7zip, directX, codecs, whatever automatically and make programs such as Office, WLM, VLC, etc... optional and will prompt which ones you want to install. You can make everything automatic. Component Removal will be on the AIO Integrator but this one is special, it will remove all the selected packages from all images and not just one. Although they will be in v1.0.2-22F... they will be hidden as they are not finished yet and it's also not v1.0.3 Silent Installer is fully working but still hidden.

For addons (.WA) it's C:\windows\w7t on the wim For silent installers it's HKLM\\Software\\W7T on the WIM so you will have to use wim registry mounter.

Ahh i understand, i will adjust the link and will add a link to a guide of downloading the torrent files I think it may have confused people as you made it sound like you wanted me to implement the script into Windows 7 Toolkit EDIT: It's going to be tough to link to a page which tells you how to download torrent files, because people may use that knowledge to download things they shouldn't....

You quoted my message and not put a response with it
-
MR_Smartepants, are you responsible for the driver packs? I've tried speaking to Muiz but he don't reply. If you are, then please PM your MSN address It's about some missing files on some of the driver packs
-
What i mean't was why did you quote my post and then put nothing with it
-
TH-Tech, why is there nothing in your post?
-
I have not read all of your last post but i don't provide or work on the Driverpacks so therefore i won't write a guide on how to download the bittorent files, thats the creator of the driverpacks job. Once i have fully read your post i will make a further reply.

What do you mean? @Everyone Below is a picture of the new RunOnce program, as requested, the new Silent Installer (within AIO Integrator) let's you make some or all programs automatically. For example, all machines will install 7zip, directX, etc.. but you can make it prompt you if you want Office, Photoshop, etc... install additionally. Then again you can make it completely silent and install everything by just making sure each item is marked as 'Always Install' Just so you know, this new feature is hidden until v1.0.3 whilst i test it.
-
Added some interesting for those driver errors. It will prompt this error at the end of AIO Integration
-
I have started you silent installer request, it will be moved to the AIO Integrator with the option to always install an app (7zip, DirectX, etc..) and prompt others (Office, misc tools, etc..). It will probably be in the next release however it will be hidden until v1.0.3. EDIT: Pretty much done, just need to update the RunOnce program
-
v20 has a fix for XP and all .NET errors will be displayed in English to help me fix issues, saves translating it Just to add W7T should work on XP and Vista fine as long as you have DISM installed correctly i.e. C:\Windows\System32\Dism.exe and other files
-
Be easier if I just made it save everything you put into the AIO integrator, but I do have a spare space for a new tool on the main menu. I will give it a go when I start v1.0.3,hopefully I won't receive many error logs, so far I've received none which is excellent. To be honest I was thinking about moving the whole silent installer to a tab in AIO integrator, what you think?

Thanks, received. I just had not received any which is a good thing but I have got 2 test logs so he uploader is working
-
Can someone please run W7T.exe /testlog please, and then close W7t. It should say it is uploading a test log. Thanks.
