Update: On the addon integrator you will see "Test Mode", make sure it is unticked. When it is ticked its discards the changes to the WIM, its helpful for me during testing.

We all know drinking enough water is important and we should drink around 6-8pints or whatever a day. The question is how should that be spread out? For example... drink a pint every hour, every 2 hours..? Cos drinking too much water is a bad thing too. Yes i know its a random question lol

To submit an addon, a specific layout has to be applied. An example is below with all the relevant pictures you can use. Popular addons will be added to W7T "Addons" list. To be honest... as long as it is neat and tidy you don't have to go by this template Homepage button Download button Size MD5 Note: I did not make the pictures above.

Build 7 was based on Addons, the "Addon" download page on the main screen has been updated. Also, the update list has been updated with the latest driver packs and the Defender Definitions update which was released 5 mins ago Ok, im now looking for small suggestions, things which you think could be better/changed. I don't care if its even a very small suggestion. Thanks

I have noticed that the permissions for "HKEY_Classes_Root\" have TrustedInstaller permissions and cannot import registry settings for Windows 7 Toolkit addons I was wondering if anyone knew a way to take ownership of a registry key either via VB .NET or Command Prompt. Thanks

I think windows 7 is great but my wireless print does not work on it, it installs n everything but when i go to print my HP C4580 does nothing. Works on Vista, anyone else having this problem. UPDATE: You see a printing task appear in the queue, but disappears very quickly.

Would of been a .NET error me thinks. Already done, you should see subforum now (Thanks N1K) Sent you my wlm credentials, although you could of just viewed my wincert profile

I've test your other addon SafeErase, and have made it possible for that to work too, i think you would of had an error when you tried to integrate it? (been fixed anyway in next release). I'm sure you already know this, but if you are planning to release these addons, you will have to remove the serial numbers within the registry entries. Also with the next version, it will import any .reg files so it does not have to be called "Reg.reg", even multiple registry files. Thanks N1K

It worked for me, but im going to test it using VMWare Weldone, good work! you are one of the first people to create a working addon :thumbsup_anim:
-
you might have to upload your addon and send me the link via PM. If you are adding the addon to x64bit windows then it will be put in HKLM\WIM_Software\wow6432Node\
-
Perfect, any registry being integrated? If there is just export the registry and save it as Reg.reg, no need to modify it... well you might have to change anything like "Program Files (x86)" to just "Program Files" or "SysWOW64" to "System32".

Windows 7 Toolkit 0.1.1 Pre-Alpha 4

Forgot, to fix that error. It is because Smartwim.dll in the W7T folder is not registered. I have not tested W7T when used on Vista or XP. Firefox 3.0.6 Addon. Thats the new layout for addons. .WA = Windows Addon, couldn't think of anything else... oh well lol. The screenshot below was taken straight after Win7 installation had finished, integrator works

W7T method will be abit different, but if you have msn add me and ill just send you w7t 0.1.1 so you can test. [Info] Name=Mozilla Firefox Creator=Legolash2o Version=3.0.6 Arc=x64 or x86 Description=Internet Browser blah blah blah Also it will accept pure registry exports so you dont have to go change all the HKLM\Software to HKLM\WIM_Software or etc... but the W7T Addon Integrator will work with vista too, which will make it easier for everyone. UPDATE: Addon Integrator is now almost finished, but i've managed to integrate Firefox 3.0.6 with ease
