[Solved] Small "cosmetic" bug in 1.4.29
Legolash2o replied to Thiersee's topic in WinToolkit Solved Bugs
Thanks, fixed. -
Just mount and unmount (save) the image and it should be replaced.
-
1.5 will most likely happen when my final year project gets approved but I may just skip ahead to v2.0.
-
Update catalog will be replaced by Windows Hotfix Downloader. Alphawaves has given me permission to use his update lists. I will start programming this after my Tuesday exam
-
Well when you click start it moves IE to the top of the group automatically. I believe the rest of the updates can be installed in any order after that
-
1.4.0.x was a new build with new features, requests, etc.. 1.4.1.x is when I was focusing on bug fixes.
-
YAY, if others say the same then I will release it to the general public.
-
I feel cheeky asking someone to use their hard work but I will ask. UPDATE: I've asked. AIO doesn't check but Component Remover should show the superseded ones. Thanks
-
I use a program called HashTab to verify MD5, SHA-1, etc..

[Solved] Some updates not Integrated in 1.4.29 Test 16 & 17
Legolash2o replied to mooms's topic in WinToolkit Solved Bugs
Thank you -
The first two are major released, such as: 0.1.x.x, 0.2.x.x, 0.5.x.x, 0.6.x.x, 0.7.x.x, 0.8.x.x, 1.0.x.x, 1.3.x.x, 1.4.x.x. Usually there's some big changes in between those increments. Better UI, speed improvements, etc.. The second part x.x.29.x is just general releases such as bug fixes, minor improvements, etc... The last part which you won't really see is x.x.x.18 is mostly used for test builds.

[Solved] Some updates not Integrated in 1.4.29 Test 16 & 17
Legolash2o replied to mooms's topic in WinToolkit Solved Bugs
So the bugs only happen in tests 16, 17? Since adding the IE group? -
[Solved] Some updates not Integrated in 1.4.29 Test 16 & 17

Go to View Installed Updates and see what's in there. Are you sure you didn't integrate them into Home Premium or whatever and then installed Ultimate by mistake? Did you see it save the image successfully? -
I've decided to change the version numbers to make life easier for me. OLD 1.4.1.29 NEW 1.4.29 @Testers: If you go to the 'About' tab, you will see the build number, at the minute it is currently 1.4.29.17 because it's the 17th test released. Everywhere else in the program you will just see '1.4.29' Any questions about the new version change?
-
Just a side note: On the first image, there is a messagebox about saying it needs an update. The latest test no longer shows the message and will just say MAY need the update(s) on it's tooltip.
-
IE will get moved up automatically when you click 'Start'. The EXE not adding during Add Updates + Subfolders is by design.
-
It uses imagex. If you want to capture and existing install, I dont think you can do it with the current install unless you boot from another partition/OS option. And if you want to install it on other machines, you will have to sysprep it first.
-
If the file begins with "IE" (IE11-Windows6.1-KB2898785-x86) then it will go to the IE group. Test 16 released
-
I made it so IE, Hyphenation, Spelling and IE LangPacks updates go into an 'Internet Explorer' group. But IE updates go into the normal group but I have added an option to right click on move to Internet Explorer group.
-
What about KB2898785, doesn't that have to be installed after IE?
