Allow wintoolkit to use more than 2Gb ram if needed
Legolash2o replied to Steel's topic in OLD Threads
Not sure how to code that lol, I will google. I'm pretty sure Win Toolkit won't go near 2GB RAM usage. For some reason though, it doesn't use much CPU :/ EDIT: I think i may have done it. But instructions will be nice, just incase -
At a guess, it's probably an update causing that so try without any updates on a fresh image.

KB2761465 for IE10Release Preview (for Win7) can not be integrated
Legolash2o replied to pedilover's topic in Win Toolkit
You can turn 'Compatibility Check' setting off in the 'Options' tab. UPDATE 1: There are different versions of that update depending on your OS. You can always extract the cab file from the msu and integrate that instead. UPDATE 2: It should add to the list in the next release. -
Nothing really. v1.5 had mostly bug fixes so far so i just made them available to the general public as v1.4.1.x
-
Thanks, i've added those descriptions on the tweaks.

Depends on what your remove. Most users forget to rebuild the image and that most removals are removed during install (DISM) so the image will be mostly the same but smaller after install. I am currently planning on adding more to the vLite tab which should make the image smaller.

Mount image. "\\Program Files\\Windows Sidebar\\Shared Gadgets\\" Delete specific gadget folder Save.

Have you ever added silent installers to the image in the past? Luckily i programmed it in a way that it will close automatically

KB2761465 for IE10Release Preview (for Win7) can not be integrated
Legolash2o replied to pedilover's topic in Win Toolkit
Do you have a link to KB2761465 please? the one you are using. The update being shows as IE9 Langpack should say IE10 Langpack, i will fix that now. -
Nah you don't need to select them again.

WIM Registry Editor in the Advanced tab. Regedit.exe > HKLM\\WIM_Software\\WinToolkit
-
You would need a lot of RAM for it to be useful for WinToolkit. Users integrate 100s of updates at a time and that would require a lot of RAMDrive space (6-20GB)

No Adfly for premium users, premium users make donation via paypal
Legolash2o replied to Steel's topic in OLD Threads
I've just sent you an email with a keycode for you, run it and keep it safe. It will automatically disable the ads if your code is detected so there won't be a need to run with the switch/syntax all the time. Please don't share that code, each user gets their own code with their email address assigned to it. -
No Adfly for premium users, premium users make donation via paypal
Legolash2o replied to Steel's topic in OLD Threads
Hello, i'm guessing you are the guy who send me £50 donation? If so, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!! Trust me, it helped I will be working on Win Toolkit pretty much all day. 1. There is a way to turn off adf.ly with a switch/syntax and has been in WinToolkit for ages! I've sent you an email (your paypal email) with the method of removing the ads. In the next release it will use a registry entry to determine if ads are shown or not. When I release the next version I will send you a registry file, although you may need to remind me 2. Click here and click on follow at the top. Maybe check here to set notification to email for that specific thing. 3) Read answer 1. -
Yeah i checked the links which they where supposed to have gotten them from and it also ended up being a porn site :/

Just thought I would let you know that my MediaFire account has been suspended so the only official download source it from WinCert. I have contacted MediaFire asking why and if they can unlock it. Apparently I have been getting a lot of DMCA requests despite the fact that I am the owner of the Win Toolkit files on there :/

How to restore stripped out Windows Media Player feature without re-install
Legolash2o replied to Madz's topic in Win Toolkit
You could mount it with Win Toolkit and use dism to restore it. After all, it's probably marked as 'Uninstall Pending'. Then save the image. -
Working fine for me, may need more detail.

Happy birthday (sorry it's late)
