well i run a site so it just keep on trying you get it right . and they is always backup so not down for long and wellcome back

the sound control in vista is different to xp thats why they do not work

it got fixed a long time ago just was not released as it was 1 of the fix to come out in alky 1.1

u need dll file as the link you show about said. the uninstill fixs was coming out in alky 1.1 but i dont no how long we have to wait for this as alky is no more and has gone open source.

at this time if you selecting uninstall a gadget it will crash the side yes. you have to delete it manually out of your C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\Shared Gadgets folder . if not there it be in C:\Documents and Settings\"NAME OF ACCOUNT"\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets .
