well its would be easy but thing is soem bitmaps/dialogs/1avis have text and thats the problem,but other than that editing the lang id's isnt a problem.

well i completely revamped the mce chek and the way it patches overwrites files.this time no more loops im sure,give me an hour or so(doing testing just to be sure)and ill upload a new build. edit: taking a bit longer...i screwed up a few things again.... edit: things are uplaoding to rapidshare,ill only be able to post link around 6 oclock everythign seems to be ok, ithink thers a screen saver issue with mce,so ill need some one to test it please,aslo need people to rest home and mce and see if the theme is changed aswell as wall paper.

oh it loops at the end? can you give me specifics? EDIT:i think i know whats going on here, lol it was late and i left in goto's that refered to bad places .lol my bad. but all went fine here cause the script does cheks for said fines,if their not there then the goto indicates to jump to the next resource.it wasint happenign cause i have a real mce wiht all files present to the chek always found the file and never used the goto's.

i really doubt it,and u say u use an addon,it prolly installs at t13,patch gets done b4 installation. this has ben tested on mce and pro by me and home by mr smartepants.

stimpy,for the logon res,i need 3 versions,and i kinda liked the idea of the version branding,alltho the graphic i used is ugly, i can fix it,but that logo is not part of the image it self, its in an other image completely and uses transparancy. for the sytem cpl,thing is appart from the pictures the window itself needs to be the same cuz thers many windows/dialogs in the system cpl set and they all have to have the same size,but urs looks good,if you can resize it so its the same size as amnesias originals ill include it for sure. edit:i just tested the show support info button and it dosent show anything ...i dunno if its the same on rue end...cause it would be very cool thta it would show indepth system info. about the damn avis n dialogs,i dunno whats going on.seems fine when pathced i cheked the cabbed file after patching btu seems things get screwed when windows installs it...ill try to investigate this weekend.have you tryed using different themes ,cause it has an impact on the numbers we input with our res editors...its crasy... but umm i dled ure logon res file and i dotn see any difference edit:ill format cus the damned dialogs i edit get screwed up,about the animated cursors ,ill add them to the 3 themes,forgot to do it when i added them.its real easy. also,if user32.dll is the boot problem then ill just drop the damned cursors in it since animated ones will be added to the theme files....does any one have a good cursor set?the ones ive got have a glich in the working ani,i see black spots appear fromt iem to time,i have fixed a couple fo them but there 1 ani thta ic nat edit ,no editor can open it,it errors out. crap i just remembered why i cant add ani,id have to do it the addon way [sysoc] customcursors=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,customcursors.inf,HIDE,7 [dosnet_files] d1,customcursors.cab d1,customcursors.inf [txtsetup_files] customcursors.cab = 100,,,,,,_x,,3,3 customcursors.inf = 100,,,,,,,20,0,0 ...ill see if i can do something.. the bach would need to open sysoc,dosnet and txtsetup and add those lines.

heha,yeah no problem,i can be a hard ass sometimes(nothing a few beers cant cure),guess the few problems with the script is getting to me.but i think i found a workaround expect a re-upload in a few minutes.only difference is the fixed .bat and resized some dialogs,i just noticed something strange when using a res editor, the current theme has an impact ont on the res editor..its quite strange. fore those intrested, seems you cannot set a variable with a period in it,thing is ieframe.dll.mui is obviously not 8.3 compliant thats how the ie7 addon(onepeice) im using integrates it ,so i had to change some things,its in the .bat... just look under the :ieframedllmui label. im curious if other ie7 addons also use the same name scheme...if not then there is a problem.so if anyone is using an other ie7 true addon and the ieframe mui isint named the same plz report ill add a coupel lines to add support.

thers a problem with the script,its not patching ieframe.dll.mui,i thought i fixed it but it dosent work,manually doing it works perfect.

lol if u re-read ure post, ull get the answer... "I said with just xp i have no problem with this only with mce addon and only after reboot " also this forum dosent support warez, ure sig clearly seems to state u dl warez from demonoid,so if ure having trouble with xp build versioning,prolly ure using crappy dled altered images.

mce addon seems to be the prob, dont use it and chek if it says 5512 instead.

about different flavors (themes) i know, ive talked about it in the earlier posts.(gonna need people to gather up resources) UXTheme and HIVE.SYS patches are in the addon version(in teh new links i gave).(on a live system only the uxtheme patch matters,but this will only happen when i create a live patcher,amnesia seems to have something going on,so mean while people can use his way to patch a live system. ill revert back to the old more vista like dialogs.i changed the rest of the dialogs so it would match the dl dialogs that everyone seemed to like,but i just find it crazy to revert back to the original dialogs but to keep the ie dl dialog witch dosent fit the set at all. about the changes i made,plz note that the 1st post still contains v1.0.05. and thats why i gave links and asked people to test,i do know some have a very watchfull eye and was hoping feedback and help from them...but i like to re-read the older posts to try and accomodate as much as possible people's sugggestions as i can, and people seemed really to like those new avis.personally i like the older ones too,i only changed them so it would match the rest and not cause i really though that they were cool and all,i much better like uniformity. so whipp me up some logon screens cause im the worst in artistic taste and creation.(yeah 1600x* is fine) and nice one on the n lite prob, ill post a quote of ure findings. edit:im also planing to add different themes depending on the xp version one can have,xp pro will ahve the current theme so this means mce and home will have their own themes, if any one has good matching themes for the said versions plz link. and about the dl dialog and avi being offsetted is fixed,i missnamed the res file,so the dialog fix i added to ieframe.dll.mui wasint taken in effect,but if ure using ie6 its ok,ie7 and ie6 have different files for dls.

thx manesia for the links,are u a member of that site and oszone.ru? ok thx Mr_Smartepants,ull notice that my cheap logon picture is pretty cheap so if you have any others that would fit better plz link. id need help ,need someone to check ftp transfert dialog/avi and also ie dl dialog/avi and others..: ieframe.mui wiadefui.dll shdoclc.dll shdocvw.dll ehres.dll msieftp.dll shell32.dll and tell me if the avi's are centered, ive noticed the ie dl dialog/avi is offseted too much to the right.when i mean check i dont mean open the file, i mean testing the actual dialog window by transffering stuff.also seems that some dialogs/avis make the window too wide.i did have to play with the sizes, but seems i screwed up.

i meant that if you do a counter clockwise(or clockwise i dont remember) mouse gesture, it will active the flip, for people that have very sensitive mouse settings like me,win flip triggers easily.
