Thanks Rick. I'll go ahead and ask since I know there are others that would like it, but is there a chance you could make a similar pack for XP x64 and 2003? ( I assume the same pack could be installed on both? ) I think that type of pack has always been missing from the various .NET offerings. Just a thought.
Cheers and Regards

ar_seven_am reacted to Legolash2o in UpdateThings have been pretty busy and with other things have affected my mental health quite abit. Things are getting better though. I will be remaining logged in from now on...
I apologize for the long absence..How is everyone? I have 3 GOOD news relating to Win Toolkit.
1. My laptop is working now.
2. In about 2-3 weeks time I will have LOTS of spare time and will pick up Win Toolkit again. I mean like 8 hours a day spare time, which is much more than I had before!
3. I get to pick my final year project soon or 'propose' one. That is when i'm going to propose Win Toolkit
I have still be checking the forum but mostly without login in. Been getting lots of PMs which I'm sift through now lol. I've learned so much new techniques in the last 2-3 months that I will definitely be implementing them in Win Toolkit!
P.S. Does anyone know a location for latests Windows updates? I wish to update my ISOs
Feel free to 'bump' topics that require my attention. If you have sent me an email which I haven't replied to, feel free to resend it.
EDIT: I think i have to fix the links to the current ISOs

ar_seven_am reacted to Mr_Smartepants in Video Driver not Instaled@Ricktendo64, Thanks for the links. I'll check those out. We've been having problems with Nvidia drivers since they changed their installer method (260-series to present).
@Kels, Noted.
@RicaNeaga, I'm sorry that you've had a bad experience with DriverPacks. You are not wrong.
I've made note of your comments and I will do what I can to split all the Win7/Vista-only drivers apart from each other (unless they're combo drivers). This should make it easier for W7T users, professionals, or folks that know what they're doing to pick out what they need. You're right, sometimes it's easier for us to just update an entire folder than spend the extra time to pick through and separate the drivers.
However, because of the nature of DriverPacks, we will still continue to produce packs that support all NT6 OS.
Do you have specific methods you use for testing driver integrity prior to integration? I'd love to hear about it. For Win7 I just integrate with DISM and if we get no errors, we call it 'good'. We want to make sure we build the best & most compatible packs we can.
Also, if you have specific examples of problems or mismatch, please PM me so I can fix the problems in our packs. We do listen and always love to get constructive feedback. Simply saying "Your stuff is broken" doesn't help anyone.

Doing so could get our forum shut down.

@myselfidem,
I believe the general question remains: Is it better or more reliable to order the x64 sub-section before the x86 sub-section in any area of the Autounattend.xml? If it solves a problem for anyone, and does not cause a problem for anyone else, wouldn't it be better to do it that way?
Cheers and Regards my friend

ar_seven_am reacted to dougiefresh in XPtsp GUI v3.0.0.26 - February 27, 2012I've created this thread for the discussion of the XP Theme Source Patcher GUI, whether it be bug reports or feature requests. If there is any problem with the GUI, discussion should take place here.
Please keep in mind that the goal of the GUI is to create a GUI for the project, NOT to create or modify resources for it. Both the resources and extras have been seperated from the GUI in order to minimize the download size of the package. Downloading the theme package and extras package will be required in order to use the GUI. If there is any problems with the resources, please report those problems in the appropriate thread, as this isn't the thread to report them in.
UPDATE: Starting with v2.1.0.0, the patcher requires administrative privileges in order to run. I found out that without administrative privileges, any local copies in the same folder as the GUI SFX won't show up.

- Integrated online Theme management tools
- WINNT.SIF manipulation tab in Additional Options
- ISO Burning ability
- A request to do additional MUI Patching
Notes about the GUI:
- All resources are ENGLISH ONLY! Please don't ask for translations for any languages, as this isn't the purpose of this thread.
- If the archive is put in the XP source folder, the script will pick up the folder that the archive resides in and use it as the default folder. Otherwise, source folder will be blank.
