  1. In that case I think the german xp has more localized files then I thought it would have. I don't have any german xp so couldnt test it. V'iso has a resource folder, grab all files that are going to be patched from i386, expand them and create a list of the german files. So I am able to create a new V'iso german build. thank you HJW

  3. Hi All! Want to add another Vista OOBE Here is your link to the file http://www.verzend.be/v/7663070/oobe.rar.html I think this one is made very well (not my work) besides some small glitches with the overlay images and buttons.
  4. It's quite the same method I use for my localized V'iso. However on localized version of windows XP there are still english dllresources so not all .res files needs to have an other language. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ V'iso b8.2.1 Dutch (Nederlands) V'iso b8.2.1 German (Deutsch) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Good luck HJW

The list above includes all files that are non english in my XPCD, so the language of the .res files for these files needs to be changed. My question to you is, if this list is correct and also applies to your i386 source - or do you have any more localized files that V'iso tries to patch? HJW

  8. Hi, thanks it's working good. One minor issue with Microsoft Update though, not all components are installed (ActiveX and CAB) I am running x64 Professional ENG. Could you fix it in next release?
  9. V'iso b8.1 for Dutch Windows XP (langid 1043) download
  10. WorkInProgress: localized V'iso. This method is not proven to be fully functional yet. But sure it is a step in the right direction. 1. Decompressing all dll files V'iso will patch to a temporary folder. 2. Getting all localized files (about one third is still English (here running Dutch XP)) 3. Apply new languageID to the selected .res files in \resources\ with ResourceHacker by commandline 4. Start traditional .cmd to launch V'iso proces. So I end up with both english and dutch .res files since there are still english files in my XPCD i386 folder. I've getting this process automated with AutoIT. HJW
