Very complicated stuff. Wouldn't transforming a .reg file into a silent .exe and adding it to the silent installers sections in AIO, and then running it at first boot, woudn't this way solve the matter here more elegantly since the tweak he says that it works on live systems? To transform a .reg into a silent .exe please use this app - just drag&drop the .reg file over the .exe inside the archive of that portable app, and it will transform that .reg into a .exe.
  2. Sorry, haven't been around lately... so is this solved in the latest build? Going to check this also tommorow probably...

Sorry, but I don't agree. Adding support for KUC would make the app very complicated and scare begginers away. Also, at one point Win Toolkit had support for komm's servers, but komm decided it was ''bad'' from his perspective to let Win Toolkit users download from his servers; it was his right, I agree, but made alot of people unhappy. The ''greater good'' in this matter in my opinion would be to keep asking komm to re-let Win Toolkit download from his servers, until hopefully he would agree, and offer an alternative for McRip for when his servers are down (and viceversa), and not ask Lego again and again to offer support for his tool. ''My way'' is offering alternatives to McRip while keeping Win Toolkit simple, ''your way'' is making Win Toolkit dependant on his tool and making it more complicated. LE: Ontopic - the correct prerequisites for IE10 are in this official Microsoft article. From that screenshot it seems there are more added by default in Win Toolkit. Please Lego only add those from that article and please add a warning pop-up window or smth if IE10 is detected and the prerequisites aren't (for beginners).
  4. Just a heads up. Visual Studio 2012 Update 2 is now in post-beta stage. Probably next month will be out.
  5. Geej, can you please also update this one to the latest version. Thanks. BTW, this version was ok for xp. Don't know if changes are needed for this one also, as you made for the win7/8 addon.
  6. Nope, wasn't a cache issue. However, now it's there. so thanks, all issues solved.
  7. Yep, now everything is ok with the avatars. Good job! LE: But the attach button is still gone.
  8. attached. win 7 sp1+ x86, both in Google Chrome and IE9. Oh, wait the attach button is also gone from my interface. had to upload them here, here and here.
  9. yeah, the avatar's previews are gone from all the forums and subforums. Either something wrong to the update process, or to the update to the forum software itself.
  10. The latest version from Microsoft is 6.2.73.106, which is newer than yours, Rick (just tried your installer). You can get it from this direct link.
  11. Lego, check again my post above. It looks we somehow posted at the same time. Please be more patient as it looks like alot of the issues that appeared in the past are reappearing, don't be so quick to dismiss them.
  12. KB2533552 isn't supposed to be integrated, but moved automatically to silent installer area by Win Toolkit (not integratable update). with KB971033 there is also another long story, although looks like a vista update for DISM, it's a windows 7 update, so Lego did some magic at some point aka rules in the app to integrate it properly. Lego, so all the mini-rules were deleted from the code now with the code refactoring? Hope not...
  13. Yep, test 14 works. Just a suggestion for the future - please don't use .7-Zip anymore, I mean installed on your system, install haozip or winrar or etc. Otherwise such errors can reappear. However, now the error in the first post is still present. You have the links for two addons above. Both are addons for NFOPad and both have the target path for the shortcut directing to Program Files (x86). However, one shows the path ok, one doesn't. Again, it's just a displaying issue, but it may be related to how Win Toolkit's Addon Maker modifies some files (see point no. 2 in the first post.
  14. Now there is an error report when trying to open the addons: Error Extracting Exception: Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601] Copyright © 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\WinToolkit141-15_Test13>Set SEE_MASK_NOZONECHECKS=1 C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\WinToolkit141-15_Test13>"C:\Windows\Temp\WinToolkit_Files\7z.exe" x "C:\1.WA" -o"C:\Windows\Temp\WinToolkit\AddonC\" -aoa 7-Zip 9.30 alpha Copyright © 1999-2012 Igor Pavlov 2012-10-26 Error: 7-Zip cannot find the code that works with archives. C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\WinToolkit141-15_Test13>exit When I close the error output dialog, the usual ''This is not a valid addon'' appears. BTW, I don't have 7-Zip installed, but Haozip. It's a possibility that WinToolkit depends on 7-zip to be present on the host system? You have both addons linked above Lego. Just rename them to 1 and 2.
  15. same behaviour with test 12. ''This is not a valid addon''. the path is really not the issue.
  16. RicaNeaga replied to Tjuh's post in a topic in Win Toolkit Requests
Because no feature added in WinToolkit can ''solve'' the problem of your slow hdd. A ''burning'' feature would also imply to copy/paste the files from your hdd to the usb. Last intervention from me in a this redundant discussion.
  17. RicaNeaga replied to Tjuh's post in a topic in Win Toolkit Requests
Huh??? So you want to ''automatize" the copy/paste process??? Funny request.
  18. same behaviour with test 10. ''This is not a valid addon''. Tried from C: directly with addons renamed to 1.WA and 2.WA
  19. Nope. Tried directly from root C: - same result. Doesn't this happen also to you? Both addons linked here and here, with test 9. To be more precise, the exact warning text is: ''This is not a valid addon'' LE: I've even renamed them to 1.WA and 2.WA - same result.
  20. I tried in test 9 and it can't open either. It says now invalid addon to both. ) LE: To be more precise, the exact warning text is: ''This is not a valid addon''
  21. I remember Lego you changed at some point the .7z ''unarchiver'', and the same weird issues appeared, and as a result you've reverted your .7z changes. Hope this time they're only temporary, and you'll fix them. I'll test your next build also.
  22. 1. I already gave the link. Please see here (direct link to Reaper's) and here (for mine). In one of those addons, the shortcut shown by addon maker points to Program Files, but in reality for both addons the shortcut points to Program Files (x86). 2. Quote: ''Addon Maker does some cleaning''. Can you please elaborate? Why clean a .reg file provided by the user???
  23. It's KB2592687, NOT KB2529687. Maybe you misspelled it Lego also, as the author of that thread?
  24. RicaNeaga replied to dhjana's post in a topic in Win Toolkit
Check the tweaks in the IE category from AIO. It's very intuitive which to select. If you have further issues, ask again.
