  1. I was only wondering, because I didn't choose the "classic way" and I got an update in the classic section.
  2. Hi, KB3004375 is in the present ULs twice listed: once under category 2 (Common Updates) and once under category 4 (Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise Editions ONLY). Have a nice sunday, Thiersee
  3. The bug regards the checkbox "Category as subfolder" in the options. Error comes only with the new UL if the box is checked: "Illegal carachter in the path" Thiersee
  4. Just read on WinLite.de (post #10): Windows ISO Downloader: it's a link to heidoc.net: https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/67-microsoft-windows-iso-download-tool (formerly "provider" of download-links to DigitalRiver for Win7 ISOs). Works in the same way as the AddOn Greasemonkey in FF (or Tampermonkey in Chrome) + Script, but without installation. Thiersee
  5. It was my intention, but I got a gateway-error... I try it again. Edit: same gateway-error 504! Edit 2: Now it's OK.

  7. Hi guys, I did in the last days some tests with this "Convenience Rollup" but it does not make sense for me to continue! The last test today: 1) fresh ISO x86 HomePremium 2) integrated IE11 & RDP 8.1 prerequisite, ALL the 3.5.1-patches from the last UL + KB3020369 (section Prerequisite) , Convenience Rollup (section Updates), IE11+patch and the patches of this month (section Internet Explorer); if you want I can post the INI I used in WTK. Integration in WTK OK. 3) I installed the ISO in a VM and searched for updates: 31 found (no updates for NET-FW 3.5.1) 4) started the w10.exe (went good), restarted WIN and searched for updates: 25 updates found. 5) started a deep cleaning (510 MB!), a lot of KBs uninstalled. 6) restarted WIN and searched again: 27 updates found, two of them for NET-FW 3.5.1! @mooms & @rhahgleuhargh I tried with DISM too: same result!. Thiersee
  8. I can confirm it! I made a test in the same way and I got 40 updates proposed by WU (not installed!); after a deep clean (a bounch of 510 MB uninstalled!) WU proposed 42 updates... Thiersee
  9. I just installed a VM (x86) from scratch (Win7 HP SP1) with only KB3020369 and the convenience Pack integrated, plus IE11. No problems regarding search time for updates, but: 1) It did not integrate IE11 (i.e. may be the prerequisite are not in the pack) 2) The prerequisite for RDP have not been integrated I didn't search for other issues. My opinion is that this pack is not really just to be integrated in an ISO for a fresh installation; I think more to update a running system. And I do not understand completely MS: why a pack without IE11, if IE8 is not supported anymore?

  11. Very interesting, but: 1) All the telemetry patches installed? Is not so good 2) From the MS-Article for this update: If I remember well KB3020369 is not integratable offline. Or not? Anyway I'll test it tomorrow after I got my new car .
  12. Sorry, but why should be a dead project? Only because the links have been taken from post #1? The Repack is still present on Ricktendo his own server: http://repacks.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7&start=10 Last update from 14.04.2016. Regards, Thiersee
  13. Tested on VM x86. I confirm the result from Pink_Freud and the hint from abbodi1406: if KB3140245 is installed then KB2585542 will be uninstalled. BTW in my test from yesterday I forgot that KB3140245 was not yet installed.. @X-Force: KB3138378 is since the patch-day important

  15. If you need the links, here they are BTW, KB3138378 is now "important"
  16. And this is not the only issue caused by that tweak: VirtualBox 5.xx does not work; the last version running for me was 4.3.12, before I installed my pc without that tweak. Have a nice week, Thiersee
  17. My opinion too. Very good suggestion, thanks! I make some experiments.
  18. Hi mooms, it works, as usual, but with a big disadvantage for my purposes: the profile is working only for the user where I installed FF (Admin), NOT for the other user, sorry. On a PC in Italy I have 8 user...so I`ll continue using the 44.0 SFX with my group of extensions; after that I must start FF for every single user to get his profile generated, than I can update to the actual version. It's less work, anyway, instead of installing the extension for every user. Have a nice sunday, Thiersee.
  19. Hi, from mydigitallife http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/19461-Windows-7-Hotfix-repository/page1038,post #10376: Nice weekend, Thiersee
  20. Hi mooms, Since version 45 Firefox does NOT support unsigned extensions anymore! You can change "Question 1" in the script to give a warning to the user. Regards, Thiersee
  21. New Win7 lists have been released on WHD: there is a new W10-related patch KB3150513; it's only offered to people, who have installed KB2977759, KB2952664, or KB2976978: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3150513 Thiersee
  22. Hi fiends, beautyful news from Microsoft , direct download of patch.updates will be limited: http://winfuture.de/news,92143.html Sorry, is only in german. Thiersee
  23. WU asked me just now for KB3140245 & KB3138378 (optional)... No info at all. Thiersee
