I'm back now! With 1.4.37.15 all the MSI-based-installers get installed again, very good! But all the not integratable windows-updates still don't get installed :sad02:! I think a possibility could be to put a reboot before (with a timer, let say 1minute for unattended install, or an "immediate button") WinToolkit RunOnce starts, between Universal Theme Patcher and WinToolkit RunOnce I worked in the past with a program like Wintoolkit, but for WinXP: this program had this possibility and it was very useful.But this is of course only an idea, you can proof, if it could help or not.

Just installing , to control another "small" issue too, coming out again with Test 14: MSI-based silent-installers don't get installed.

Versuch es OHNE Leerzeichen im Pfad! In der Vergangenheit haben deutsche Zeichen und Leerzeichen Probleme verursacht. Try without spaces in the path! In the past german characters and spaces did cause issues. I do not have issues integrating this KB (1.4.37.7): 2 images x64, Prof and HP, in the same ISO. Thiersee

I solved it, for my purposes and installations, in this way: I put them in an SFX-Silent-installer together with all other windows-updates present under Tab "Silent Installers". For the logon-background I use a jpg-picture of 450 KB without issues. Thiersee

If you mean the LogOn background you have already the feature in AIO: Basic --> Tweaks --> StartUp & Shutdown --> Change Logon Background. If you really mean boot-screen, then it's not a duty of WinToolkit. Regards, Thiersee

I'm just installing with 1.4.37.4; hope it works. I'll report asap. Otherwise I don't know. wahot happens with WTK and MY Installation: it takes 2-3 seconds when RunOnceInstaller starts to put the updates under "Upadtes" tab and it was, they don't get installed; let see what happens with the running installation. I just made another try: I packed all the Win-Updates (not integratable) in an SFX-File with the silent switches: I'll put it under SFX-Installers and try again. Edit: no, it doesn't work with 1.4.37.5 too :sad01_anim:! My try: I packed all the windows-updates in an SFX-archive and the silent-switches in the setup script, this SFX under "Silent-Installer" and it works! I packed the three updates for XP-Mode in another SFX too and put it in the section for programs to be selected: it works perfectly too! So, as Frank Sinatra said: I did it my way! But, of course, I continue testing newer versions! Thiersee

Downloaded 1.4.37.2: 1) It's this, what you mean with multi-threading? 2) All the programs have been installed without issues, but NO ONE of the Windows-Updates has been, even if "green checked"; under "Updates-Tab" (WinToolkit RunOnce Installer) the files are in the sequence they have in the INI, NOT in the sequence, they have in "SFX-Silent-Installer Tab" in AIO. Thanks a lot, but there is another bug in 1.4.36.2.... On EVERY windows-patch files comes an error and it doesn't installs, even if it get a "green-check" All other programs installs correctly, Shark007 and WIN-USB-Download-Tool too. Thiersee

Of course can Shark codecs be installed silently and without toolbars & co.! You must unpack (7zip) the original-installer and use only the exe-file: Advanced.exe /S /v/qn for the 32bit-codecs Advanced_x64Components.exe -ai for the additional x64-components After the installation the installed codecs starts and calls the IE, but don't worry, it doesn't stops the installation of the following silent installers! Sorry, I need some more time because 1) I do not remember, which version the last was, I didn't have the issues with 2) I made my last try-installations with a small INI (only not integratable win-updates in sfx-silent), but it seems some run timings are causing some of this files not to get installed.

On peut désactiver ceci dans les options de WinToolkit. (Move know problem updates to silent installers) I had NEVER issues with this updates! But people integrating ALL Windows updates (more than 500!) had sometimes problems (dependencies). Je n'ai pas rencontré de soucis d'installation en intégrant les maj RunOnce dans leur ordre "naturel", mais un SFX n'est pas une mauvaise idée. Du coup pourquoi ne pas intégrer toutes les MAJ RunOnce dans un gros SFX ? May be WinToolkit doesn't help, but MS -Bullettins: 1st: KB2574819-v2 2nd: KB2592687; both for RDP 8.0, but this one requisite for RDP 8.1, if you want both protocols installed.! 3rd: KB2857650 4th: KB2830477 5th: KB2923545 Since a couple of weeks/months, may be depending on updates coming with the patch days, they don't get installed and WU aks for them anyway. I must correct my post #10: msxml_SP3 and msxml_kb2758694 get still not installed :sad01_anim:. I forgot on one program to put the parameter /quiet (or /quiet) /norestart and I got again the MSI-option-Box (pictur 2 in post #1), but RunOnceInstaller has continued his job after I confirmed "OK" and the specific program got installed. Now I'm trying back with older versions to see, if it is version-dependent and I'll report tomorrow: today I'm not at home. Thiersee

Hi Lego, don't ask me how and why, but with the new version 1.4.34.13 only two programs haven't been installed, those with switches /passive /norestart: msxml_4_SP3::/passive /norestart msxml4-KB2758694-deu_x64::/passive /norestart all other programs have been installed. Thiersee
