Hey Liam, At the moment, WTK use martins uxtheme-patcher, that pacht just uxtheme.dll, shsvcs.dll and themeui.dll: http://www.syssel.net/hoefs/software_uxtheme.php?lang=en It would be nice to have a option to use custom resources for example explorere.exe and shell32.dll. It exist various "Patcher" they can be also added into WTK as tweak, same way as theme-patcher. BTW: It would be much better that WTK patch/add the files itself instead of 3thparty tools. Explanation: Hacking dlls are old school, this method is outdated. The new way is to change resources directly in ram at windows start. Some tools make a reg for use a dll that replacing images for example. Im on such project at the moment. But its hard to find out what u realy need what not. U have to know that with any u remove also the support for some other also removed. For the moment i can give u some files (past work, may problems) ((Do the RT7Lite one renamed as .inf instead of .ini)) Update: I remember iv create ones, example a working Win7 Image u can burn on CD (700MB size) Update2: If u really need just a system with working browser, the size can be decreased on 500MB i think. But for sure, any support for any programs are destroyed.. Example: Winsxs, u can delete the folder, but u can got problems with idiotic/old programmed apps or some MS/.NET apps. But for my system i can live withouth the winsxs, so i remove it allways, the full winsxs, nut just /backup. systemsize = /2 ^^

I remember i have already (also in other tools in past) all time set "Internet Explorer/IE Homepage"" an other one and got nevertheless this "welcome-page". Like hes said "Also i have tried to set the home page: "about:blank" but no result." - thats just for homepage, this welcome-page open nevertheless (just) at first start. But im not 100% sure since which version, can be 8 or 9. Greez

Hey, When i set updates location in same folder as WHD, the AD mean all Updates are old and move them to old. But these are the same updates, that AD download again and place these in the same place of WHD it did. Thats for all updates, no matter subtopic or other. All are the same folders, same updates so its not "old" Greez

Okay, sorry then i was wrong, i dunno. Please help me to understand, what means "obtained from an unauthorized source"? My understanding before was, that i can download windows like other shareware, its just trial-image that u can download from anywhere and use for trial. Just the serial is the "true"-license, for serial u have to buy or be "authorized" to use a specific key, and its dont allow to release a personal one. What for license-system ms use for their isos?! Nah its may not warez. Seems like it, but can be just a modified Image. Its warez if its include a pirated serial or something. But i also crashfly hint, better remove it and use a original picture. Update: Seems i was wrong.

So, at the moment, just still "parental control" -bug and the increased size of image- bug exist. (parental control is also still available in installed windows, but if you click on it, nothing happen.) Next time i will test more and compare set and image...

Im not tested yet, but i think it should work: 1. Make shortcut(s) in the called location on your running system. (Optional 2. Go there and change the shortcut destination: "C:\program files" -> "%programfiles%" (/Optional) 3. Addon Maker: Copy this folder "TaskBar" and set destination on: "%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar" 4. Integrate this addon, and the addon(s) of prgram(s) into the image.

Advantages for examples: - Simultaneously usage of tool(s) examples: download various sources, download and work on image, convert and download, and much more, all the tools. - Simultaneously work on images, to prepare much images simultaneously (yes, need more time, but work more ones at the same time, no user control is need) - Can all speed-up on mass-SSD users (in future i will buy 128+GB SSD) - You can compare sets/images, no more much txts/screenshots need. - The same for WIM-Manager, you can better work with multiple images. Example that maybe much users knows: - You work on your Image, but the same time you want download updates for an other image. Of cause, standard user need mostly just one WTK for one (own) Image. But advanced users may need more WTK instances for better advanced working. So thats reason for that i wrote "option", if you need that you can it set in options. Solutions for the other disadvantages: - All folders/files can be renamed with x1 x2, the same for multiple images and other. - Maybe not WTK-main as multiple instances, may just app-threads like Update-Downloader or other. - For some "unique" files, can WTK give a report about "read-only" at this time where more as one work on.
