Yea sorta the same thing happens to me, I notice when I log off, reboot or install a update that requires reboot the shutting down text is small (Smaller - 100% display size) but when it reboots the text is much bigger (Medium - 125% display size) and its not fixed until I log back in Here is what Windows 7 says is the recommended display size but I prefer the smaller, what does your say?

Todos los DVD de Windows 7 continen todas las versiones, ultimate, home premium, etc solo tienes que eliminar ei.cfg para tener todas las opciones En cuanto a eliminar componentes, esto lo puedes hacer con rt7lite, tambien con waik puedes apagar a sidebar y media center

Cuando puedes reproducir el error integrando solo el upl y/o addons míos sin eliminar componentes entonces sabras que es causa del upl... Para mi el drm actualizo sin ningún problema, creo que con eso puedo asumir que todo esta funcionando normal (no tengo vídeo con que probar)
