Did you use DISM from WAIK or this DISM? C:\Windows\System32\ BTW why is this topic locked?

Not sure, been awhile since I have done it manually...usually I edit config.txt with installer name and switches, add my icon and version info to 7zsd.sfx, zip my installer files and use the drag&drop_on_me.bat thats in the SilentSwitchMaker.zip to build my silent switches You may be correct, if you look inside the bat you will see the order you mentioned @copy /b "%~dp17zSD.sfx" + "%~dp1config.txt" + %1 "%~dpn1.exe" BTW if you added the new setup.iss to your .7z file the checksums should not match

You do know you can make your windows 7 any language you want by installing a lang pack? It would yield the same result as another with a different lang If you are looking for something like what it says for "Installed" in certain languages you might not even have to install the lang pack, you could search to see what .mui file the string is stored in and extract the info from the mui with a resource hacker

If you have a second hard drive you dont have to add wpi to your DVD or USB drive if you dont have the space, you can do like me and leave it on your D:\ drive and when setupcomplete.cmd executes (I use autounattend.xml to call mine) it will surely find it on any backup/secondary drive you put it on -
MEGA Lista de Actualizaciones para XP SP3, IE8 y WMP11
ricktendo replied to ricktendo's topic in WinCert.net Spanish
A yea, sorry about that...BTW you can create your own personal setup.iss by running the installer with this switch (chose not to reboot) PackageName.exe /r /sms /f1"c:\setup.iss" Then you retrieve setup.iss from the C:\ directory and place it in with your installer, then this switch will work to install your app using the options recorded in the .iss file PackageName.exe /s /sms BTW some unpacked installshiled installers already come with a setup.iss file and there is no need to create your own To re-create your own installer, use 7zip archive splitter to decompile the 7zip silent switch installer into 3 files (.txt, .sfx and .7z), you will have iTouch.txt (a.k.a. config.txt) with the install info and also the iThouch.sfx (a.k.a. 7zsd.sfx) with the icon, now you take the iTouch.7z expand it add your setup.iss and recompress it with 7zip Now you put all 3 files in the same directory and you open a cmd prompt in that directory & execute this copy /b iTouch.txt + iTouch.sfx + iTouch.7z iTouch.exe This will merge all 3 files together into a .exe Here is a vid you can watch on silent switch making

Here is your iTouch installer: http://www.mediafire.com/?wt0ji2ijnog BTW I got fed up with the SetPoint stuff long ago so I dont think I will try to figure out the new installer anytime soon, I started adding the INF drivers ONLY to my installs, no tastkbar stuff Oh and SetPoint v6 is totally different from v4, has new program UI
-
Sure, here you go: http://www.mediafire.com/?jhjyhgzmwnu BTW iTouch never heard of it, how about a link

need help disable windows security popup under windows 7
ricktendo replied to bjfrog's topic in Microsoft Windows 7
You need to check Always trust software from "X" box, find the reg entry (use installwatch or regshot) and add it next time before you install this app Leave this program or whatever it is from your next install, take a snapshot of your registry before you install it (with one of the above mentioned programs), when the pop up shows, just check the box and finish install...then you see what changes are made to the registry specifically looking for what is added by checking always trust box You are looking for a reg change like this one (I used to stop from popping up with my personalized ConvertXtoDVD installer) -
Thanks Updated IP to v7.10.344.0 and documented the 3 new mice model cmdlines
