I dont think that the star a.k.a. asterisk (*) flag will work with RD but with DIR /B it will make a detailed list of all the 7z*.tmp and it will delete them one by one FOR /F %%I IN ('DIR /B "%SYSTEMDRIVE%\Documents and Settings\Default User\7z*.tmp"') DO RD /S /Q "%SYSTEMDRIVE%\Documents and Settings\Default User\%%I"
  3. Si lo unico diferente es el sereal o el teclado pues en la seccion de desatendido de nLite deje esos cuadron en blanco, asi puedes entrar uno distinto para cada PC. Lo unico que hace el updatepack es actualizar los archivos en tu CD y agrega IE7 Y WMP11 (mas informacion)

  5. Funciona en ambos XP Prof y Home, no...no se puede instalar post install. El UpdatePack es como un service pack no official pero solo se puede integrar con nLite No tienes que hacer tu Windows desatendido, puedes dejar ese seccion en blanco y te garantizo una vez que haces to XP con el updatepack no volveras a hacerlo sin el...checkear en microsoft update y tener cero actualizaciones nesesarias despues de tu primer inicio es lo maximo Sabes que el updatepack no toma mucho mas espacio, reemplaza muchos archivos viejos y peligrosos que existem en i386 ahorrando espacio

  7. No hover, Alky can only patch it to use one of the skins in sidebar.exe By default it uses the solid black one (aero always on top)
  8. You cannot patch ehshell.exe without having trouble, if you have patched it with a Vista icon or something run this utility with the following command sn.exe -Vr ehshell.exe Do the same if you moddified RegisterMCEApp.exe sn.exe -Vr RegisterMCEApp.exe

Make sure you have IE7 installed and you can run these commands from a cmd window or run to re-register the sidebar files in case they did not register successfully "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe" /RegServer "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\.\regsvr32.exe" sbdrop.dll "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\.\regsvr32.exe" wlsrvc.dll

  14. You can switch the names DefaultUninstall <-> DefaultInstall and right click the inf and choose Install and the opposite of what happened first will happen second

Very common bug the 2002 version issue, you can view the Media Center version in the about of the Media Center The Media Center runs in VMware, it will warn you saying your Video card is not compatible with Media Center but it will still run. You wont be able to play videos either in a VM...Dancer also will not be able to detect music in a VM But once you have it on your REAL PC and not a Virtual all will work
