  1. They are all post sp1 updates and not all updates can be integrated... I think the wintk has a list and places these to install on 1st boot
  2. Best to use VirtualBox and create/install to a VHD... You mount it via diskmgmt.msc, action, attach vhd If you want to keep using VMware find a tool that can convert the VMDK to VHD or one that will allow you to mount a VMDK same as you can a VHD
  3. They flip up, so they need the screws to keep them in... I was going to use a zip tie but instead I pulled the mounts off an old dead toshiba qosmio and soldered them onto the wifi card adapter I used a little ghetto ingenuity and used a cigarette lighter to do so
  4. I have tried but you cant screw into the holes I have see the mounts I am referring to, they go thru the holes, they have a nut on the underside to hold them and a female hole that can receive a screw This one has them soldered on, this one has screws long enough with nuts for the back, but they are not the ones I talk about but similar... Will keep looking for a pic of them Edit: aha! this card comes with the hardware I am talking about, you can see them on the side there, the nuts to hold the gold female receivers and the screws that can go in them
  5. Now I am trying to add WiFi to it, I got this PCIe adapter but it did not come with the screws/mounts to mount the card... WTF china? Does anybody know what these screws/mounts that are supposed to go here are called? (right now its only the empty holes where they are supposed to go) BTW if anybody has an old laptop WiFi card sitting around (or because they updated to AC) and would maybe consider donating it. I am currently saving my adf.ly bucks to get a Intel 6250 (because its the oldest still being supported/updated in the proset wifi driver pack, it can do both 2.4 and 5.0 GHz and I currently have an older B/G I grabbed off an older laptop)

  9. Es compatible pero solo instala la version x86... Y el error que recibes es porque jqs.exe solo instala en XP, cuando el instalador intenta desactivarlo da ese error en sistemas Vista/7/8+

  13. No, just telling him to run the installer AFTER he is fully logged in and Windows is up and running... Before this you will get that error with 2005/8
  14. That error happens if you try to install before you are fully logged in
  15. Integration and Slipstream mean basically the same. It means you can integrate these with dism Reverse Integration is another word for Sysprep. You do a regular install of your OS, but when you get to the OOBE part where you enter a username, you press Shift+Ctrl+F3 and you will be logged in to (the aministrator account in) audit mode... Here you install your apps like .net 4.5.1, updates that cannot be integrated/slipstreamed like WMF 4.0, Servicing Stack update, etc. After you finish with audit mode, you generalize and shutdown your work, then you boot from another source and use dism to capture a image of the install you just made. This will give you a new install.wim with .net and other stuff you did during your audit mode session
  16. You can try my slim .net framework 4.0 installer
  17. That is Flash Player, this is Shockwave player
