Can you guys send me a patched with alky sidebar.exe (with fade skin too), sbdrop.dll and wlsrvc.dll (I also need the manifests files) I am no longer on XP but am on Vista and I do not have the memory req to install it on VMware EDIT: the tooltip is done automatically by the MUI files and sorry the other gadgets have to stay, it will take me hours to redo the INF file and delete thousands of PNG files

Do three things for me1- Tell me what language addon did you install 2- Open a CMD window and type LCID and hit enter, what did it say? 3- Go to Add/Remove Programs, highlight Windows Sidebar and hit Change

It does not add any themes or addons, only patches the dll and exe files with icons

I have never been so disappointed in a program as much as this one, the previous version is much better than this release, makes me want to stop making addons for it (because I never use the darn thing, its too lame)

Hey guys I recently decided to see how Vista ran on my PC, I only have one problem... My monitor driver (under XP) could go up to 1152x864 But now under Vista (with the same drivers installed) I can only achieve 1024x768 (you can see what monitor I have in my sig) Does anybody know of a program that runs on Vista that can force set it to a higher rez? ty BTW this is my first time trying Vista and I think I like it, it runs very smooth on my PC and it only has 512 MB of RAM ATM

No need really, its very simple to install.Just download and install Alky http://www.fromvistatoxp.com/ (reboot) Right click on Sidebar.inf and choose Install (reboot) fenix I am sorry, I will not be able to fix the Japanese version, you are going to have to try and do this (for now I am removing the download link)

ntoskrnl.exe.res is now bootscr.res (all 4 bootscreens use the same res file)
