  1. OMG I hope whoever is reporting all these posts will stop it
  2. I dont know what "%%pfvqy2%%\" is But yea you got pretty much most the usual suspects, just depends on what you install... Sometimes you get menu order and other stuff but its pretty easy to see what has to stay. OH If you are using RegisterDLLs to register a dll file you can delete the CLSID and TYPELIB entries also (just take a snapshot before unregistering the DLLs and see what is safe to remove) this will make your AddReg sections much smaller
  3. FXGT make sure your Gadgets have a en-US folder, if it has some other Localized folder (like es-ES for example, some only have a EN folder) just rename it pete I hope, if only the newest Windows Sidebars from SP1 would work :crying_anim02: They all crash
  4. No me too, the space one only blinks but I thought it was jut me Maybe I will remove it along with Da Vinci because they arent that good anyhow (btw the space one even fails un-patched on MCE)
  5. Media Center Plus AddOn for XP (a.k.a. Windows Digital Media Enhancements) Info: AddOn includes "Windows Audio Converter", "Windows CD Label Maker", "Windows Dancer" plus a few Screen Savers (all have been ported from XP Media Center. It does not include "Windows Party Mode" Jukebox or any of the crappy themes, I removed those.) 10. Weather its called Beta or Final makes no difference, just a name change
  11. Last working version is 7795, after that I gave up (switches dont work)
  12. Adding Services using AddReg... Thats what is causing it to fail In my experience this will not work during manual Install (but dun worry, during setup it works ) OHH another tip, you can use RegisterDLLs to add most of the reg entries, heres what I want you to do: - 1st find out what DLL and AX files can be registered (if you have Kels UberPack just double click the files) - Then do a Installwatch snapshot - Manually unregister these files (again if you have Kels UberPack just right click and choose Unregister) this will show you what reg entries you can delete from your INF - Now create a RegisterDLLs entrie in your OCEntry and DefaultInstall section The rest we can do via Messenger

  19. No, I mean take the extension you want installed (does not matter wich) from your user profile Firefox folder and place it in the extension folder of the installer (open it in WinRAR and drag and drop your extension in it, example flashgot or folder name {19503e42-ca3c-4c27-b1e2-9cdb2170ee34})
  20. Few misc updates (nothing major)
  21. Yea, copy the installed extensions the same way you copy the other extensions
  22. You are using old version of the sidebar, use this one. %VAIOTOOLS% has looooong been changed For your wireless fix you need to use Alky for Applications and not the older VAIO
