Can I ask how you install Nero 8 in the first place?Do u use the autoit file or a bat file to install it silently? BTW I know a way to fool Nero installer to install the gadget on XP LINK I will update this gadget a bit later when I have a little more time (i have to get the latest Lite and Micro and test it with them also)

I think newbie changes with the amount of posts you make. Also I think that gadget needs WMP11 and also needs dotNet 1, 2 or 3 (not sure wich)

I think Alky for Applications 1.1 is about 90% done (from what Rafael has said to me) He said the games are almost done, just need a few tweaks The uninstall gadgets has been fixed for awhile now All he needs to do is figure out why 6001.17xxx Sidebars are not working (they crash under the current build) P.S. Alky for Apps and that DirectX 10 deal have nothing to do with the other, two separate things

Making this addon is getting tougher and tougher... The program makers don't seem to want to add any unattended install switches for us slipstreamers and the ones that I used before (/PERFORMINSTALL /NORUN) don't want to work with the newest 1.8 :thumbsdown_anim: I am going to see if the 1.7 versions still support the switches and get back to ya Yep 1.7.x versions still support the switches Updated addon with 1.7.6 (build 7859) stable

Hey guys just want to say to have a little patience with me, if I am not responding to your PM's or posts I am happy to say that the last couple of days I have spent them trying to piece together some donated parts into a new PC (thanks to many from the forum here ) It's been kinda tough task but almost finished... All the hardware is together and working, only need to make me a good Windows XP ISO and it will be complete (takes time because I need to gather drivers and stuff to slipstream them into my ISO)

Yes the updated gadgets would be nice As for the 6.0.6001.17xxx sidebars they don't work with alky, they crash (Rafael is on it tho, along with gadgets uninstall fix, all vista games compatibility and x64 shell extension)

What are these? they are not a addons F:\(K) Utilities\nLite\Addons\Firefox-en\ENTRIES_Firefox.INI F:\(K) Utilities\nLite\Addons\Windows_Live\ENTRIES_WinLiveMessenger.INI Why don't you put the silent installer in a svcpack folder, archive it along with the entries*.ini and integrate it that way?

I think I know why, you are using this on a non english XP correct? If you are you can get rid of this error by editing/removing this UpdateInis line in the [uninstall] section of the INF:

waynet go to add/remove programs to the windows sidebar uninstall and use the Change button to redo registration
