  2. Not possible sull I have tried it. WB takes your key, connects to Stardock, looks at your SID and it generates a sig6.bin file. You cannot simply back up that sig6.bin and use it on your next install, it wont work because you SID (registry number) would have been changed. WB will check sig6.bin against your SID number and if they don't match it will be deleted automatically. Off Topic: Nice Sig BTW
  3. You can also slipstream WMP11 using both nLite and the WMP11 Slipstreamer Copy WMP11Slipstreamer.exe to the same dir as nLite Then in the Hotfixes, UpdatePacks and AddOns add the installer and hotfixes, nLite will pause during integration and run the slipstreamer unattendedly wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe windowsmedia11-kb928788-x86-intl.exe windowsmedia11-kb929399-v2-x86-intl.exe windowsmedia11-kb929773-x86-intl.exe windowsmedia11-kb932390-x86-intl.exe windowsmedia11-kb933547-x86-intl.exe windowsmedia11-kb935551-x86-intl.exe windowsmedia11-kb935552-x86-intl.exe windowsmedia11-kb939209-x86-intl.exe WindowsMedia11-KB939683-x86-ENU.exe windowsmedia11-kb942264-x86-intl.exe windowsmedia11-kb944110-x86-intl.exe

Just talked to him and I can confirm he is working on a update, he will be changing the name of alky, also the libraries will be named to much smaller filenames example: vkernel32.dll to vk32.dll All Vista games should be working I also asked for a x64 shell ext And silent install switches to add a Vista ultimate serial number

  8. Currently not all the Vista games are working correctly, but when Rafael updates Alky (don't ask because I have no clue when) most if not all the games should be working Then I may make a tutorial
  9. Here is how you install and patch the Windows Sidebar on non Vista operating systems using Alky for Applications (by Rafael) 1- Download and install Alky for Applications (for Windows XP or Server 2003) 2- Download and install Wireless LAN API (KB918997) (skip this step if you are on XP SP3 or Server 2003) 3- Reboot 4- You need the Windows Sidebar folder and files from an existing install of Windows Vista 5- Copy that "Windows Sidebar" folder to your "Program Files" directory 6- Copy regsvr32.exe from "%WinDir%\system32" to "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar" 7- Copy manifest.xml from "%ProgramFiles%\Alky for Applications\Libraries" to "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar" 8- Rename manifest.xml in the Windows Sidebar directory to regsvr32.exe.manifest 9- Right click on both sbdrop.dll & wlsrvc.dll and choose Patch Vista library... 10- Drag and drop both sbdrop.dll & wlsrvc.dll into regsvr32.exe thats located in the same folder 11- Right click on sidebar.exe and choose Patch and Run Vista executable... 12- Close Sidebar (right click on the tray icon and choose Exit) 13- In Run... copy, paste and execute the following "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe" /RegServer 14- Restart the Windows Sidebar and nJoy

    Happy Holidays
  20. OK let me explain that warning In my INF file before it registers the windows sidebar, it checks the registry to see if NLSDL (national language downlevel api) is installed. If its not you will get that error. Just because the registry entries are not present does not mean its not installed, so if you want to stop this you can integrate a Internet Explorer addon that has nlsdl or you can change the INF for this one that does not check it Sidebar.zip
  21. Yes it will work with any nero version 8 and above
  22. shell32.dll.res
  23. Beta 6 12-25-07 - Fixed windbrand.dll bug (thanks to bober) - No longer removes Logoff/Shutdown text - Removed Cursors from user32.dll - Removed green Vista AVI's and Dialog box mod (now uses more "XP like" copy, move, delete AVI's and the default dialog box layout)
