You cannot install VMware inside VMware Workstasion if you use the original installer (try it and youll see) But if you use this installer which uses the /qn switch it should install just fine. Why it did not work for you no idea.

All addons and nLite patches work with SP3 P.S. my SP3 updatepack is tiny, only small updates (nothing to be proud about ) But when SP3 is released I will try to make an "All In One" updatepack with Hotfixes, IE7 and WMP11 (currently just practicing)
