V'ISO is only slipstreamable (you're better off using a regular Vista shell patcher for), WB6 addon (its better installed with SDC) Only 4 of my Vista like addons I recommend for live installs are the Sidebar, Cursors, ViStart and NeroDiscCopy BTW you can find a list of Vista to XP stuff in here

2000 is no longer supported by MS, XP will be till the year 2009 (so go with XP) But I think 2000 would be much faster. You could get XP to run like 2000 if you disable the services (including themes service) according to Black Viper

Yes but it would take quite a bit of editing You can edit this yourself you know, just right click the V'ISO_*.exe and open it in WinRAR. Then you extract the Resources folder (drag and drop) Then use a program such as Restorator to open and edit all the *.res files to modify/delete the AVI's and BMP's Then drag and drop the Resources folder back into the V'ISO_*.exe you have opened with WinRAR
