There is no old Alky for Apps, there is only ONE. But if you mean VAIO you go to Add or Remove Programs in your Control Panel.

Kel do you recommend using the same config.js file from 6.1 or completely re configuring it manually?

Helmi I found the problem that causes a DBGHELP.DLL error. Its any addon that has a dbghelp.dll inside a .CAB archive (like my FileZilla addon) For some strange reason it corrupts that file.

haven't made any EXE res-patchers, IMO wait for Windows Sidebar Styler 2.0.6... Its gonna be bitchin

Go to add remove programs and use the "Change" button and your problem will be diagnosed. That error means you do not have Wireless LAN API (KB918997) installed.
