Yep, but Rafael and ZoRoNaX creators of VAIO (what makes the sidebar on XP/2k3 possible) have merged with Alky (Dx10 for XP) and now its gonna be called Alky not VAIO Sometime at the end of this month they will be releasing Alky 1.0 so wait for it... And yes I can confirm the slideshow bug HAS! finally been fixed by Rafael.
LOL I will make no promises but I might give it a shot. I tried the Logon one and I HATED it. Next VM test I will install this software because I dont want to install it on my fresh install and mess it up and maybe MAYBE I will see if a addon is possible.
Close ViStart and open regedit Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ViStart Delete ProgramData Key and restart ViStart That should clear out the cache and it might fix the problem you are having
Yes, see screenshot... You have to edit/replace a one of the links in settings.xml (I replaced Help and Support) Instructions: 0- Close ViStart 1- Put sidebar.png (attached bellow) in the "ViStart\rollover" folder (this will be used as the hover icon) 2- Open settings.xml in any text editor (notepad) 3- Replace any of the current ViStart links in settings.xml with the following (I did it with Help and Support) <option name="Windows Sidebar" program="%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe" rollover="rollover\sidebar.png"/> 4- Save and Restart ViStart
We cannot help you... Especially if the reason is you don't have a valid XP key to download wlan hotfix to run the sidebar with VAIO. AFAIK the Sidebar can't run without VAIO so if you don't want to install it and IE7 and WMP11 then you can prolly try samurize sidebar or thosje's sidebar
Thats fine I can move the post... The Uninstall only works if you put the DiscCopy.inf file in %WinDir%\inf (its a hidden folder) Now try the uninstall And plese re-download the Nero DiscCopy, I silently updated it EDIT: What version of Nero are you using and is it Lite or Micro
Updated... Added Uninstall, Repair and a couple new INF tweaks & tricks, see changelog for more details You have to tick "Show updates" to see the uninstall entries (thanks to MrNxDmX's Vista Games for this reg trick)
