Hey dude welcome LS Patch is safe and it can remove and or replace Logoff and Shutdown Text from your Start Menu for those Vista Themes to look more vista'ish BTW have you tried ViStart (Vista Startmenu for XP)

Couple questions: Have you installed vaio2003 instead of vaioxp? Do you have a atl.dll file from a XP machine in the Sidebar Directory?
