This is the yumeyao LZX:21 mod of InstEd (you can credit him and ONLY him for this) For me, InstEd is unique because it can edit an msi file without touching SummaryInfo... Modificatioins: VC10 Runtimes removed from the pack. gdiplus.dll removed from the pack. Changed defaut option - Last Saved by - Don't change on save ----- this is what I mentioned above, not touching SummaryInfo. Allow hacking the executable to grant generating LZX-compressed cab files. Working on Lite editions of v8 does anybody still use this? I will need testers (my PC not compatible) to see if I removed too much, Ive gotten it down to 35MB 7z compressed (somebody with better CPU could probably compress it further)

This is an update checker, does not rely on MS servers it uses a very detailed maintained list of updates that can tell you what updates are missing from your computer and what updates you can uninstall If you think its too much its fine

Hey lego (whenever you get back) you should see about having Win Toolkit play nice with KUC (komms update checker), all you would need to do is generate a packages.txt for KUC of the offline image, run KUC and point it to the packages.txt to see what updates are needed (it creates a file packages_OUT.txt that you could see about being able to load it into Win Toolkit for a list of updates that are needed/can be removed) ​

WPI already has inf install, just remove "I386" from SourceDisksNames: I assume this is to install on a x86 machine, for x64 you have to do some other stuff that is not worth it...in that case it would be best to use the slim installer with ccleaner.ini and winapp2.ini in the default folder

The %%P (processor architecture) is new to 1.5 but the SHIFT is not, it works if you have AutoInstall section...for the fonts and colors you have to use RTF code with the special Dialogs/GUI version of 7zsd.sfx (I also edit the dialog boxes with a resource editor) You can read about some of the new undocumented features in 1.5 here

No, el serial abajo de tu computadora no es el mismo con el que vino preinstalado. El de abajo es tipo retail que tienes que activar por internet o teléfono y solo funciona con una versión de Windows 7 Los OEM usan los mismos seriales en todas sus maquinas (como el tuyo,) estos no necesitan ser activados por teléfono, usan el certificado y tu bios para saber que son genuinos. Lenovo tiene un serial OEM diferente para cada versión de Windows 7, usas el mismo certificado en todos Ahora, para que tu certificado instale automáticamente tienes que montar a tu wim y meterlo a la carpeta <carpeta_mount>\Windows\System32\oem o si no sabes como hacer eso, puedes usar la carpeta \sources\$oem$\$$\System32\oem para tener el mismo resultado (use el uno o el otro)

Haga copia de seguridad de tu "cert" y serial (LENOVO_V2.1_Cert.xrm-ms) Si quieres que el certificado instale automaticamente durante windows setup solo tienes que ponerlo en la carpeta wim montado: \Window\System32\oem afuera dvd: \sources\$oem$\$$\System32\oem Para instalarlo despues usas slmgr -ilc C:\Window\System32\oem\LENOVO_V2.1_Cert.xrm-ms Luego solo tienes que entrar el serial para la version de que deseas y tendras activado tu Windows

Tienes que averiguar si tu bios tiene slic 2.1, use SLIC ToolKit para verificar
