Its becoming rapidly obvious that you are having problems with vista and most likely your video card. aaaaand Vista bites another one in the butt.

Is it an integrated vid card w\shared system ram? Vista may simply be allocating more ram from the system to the video card.

Antec case with Antec 430w power supply?? Might be a low power issue...

I forgot to mention the only free one I have ever seen was EXTREMLY limited and produced low quality .cpl files (Icon display SUCKED) plus it was limited to the dirs you could point it to.

Ok here goes I ahve 2 ways of doing this: either a .cpl file or through the registry. I wll make it for you however you want (I have a licensed cpl generator). Yes XPize DOES modify msgina.dll during its patching process of the i386 folder....

AND before you say I don't know what I am talking about I have used vista for over 6 months, Own a license of each type (MSDN account) I gave Vista a fair try and hated nearly every bit of it. I will not touch Vista again untill SP1 for it has been released and maybe not even then.
