My 17 year old son plays runescape all the time.

SP1 integration is horribly messy and really not suggested. However links to download Windows 7 w/sp1 iso's (legally provided) are in the downloads tab of the toolkit.

Is your image a CLEAN unmodified one?

I knew what you meant. Let me tell you where I come from though. I have been the developer and caretaker of a app that is freeware and has been around for nearly 9 years. Over all of that time I have had hundreds tell me "If you add (Insert feature) I would gladly donate." 2 people ever followed through. My app has been downloaded millions of times and is used (Without any approval by me) in most popular warez windows distros. Over 9 years I have received (With the exception of two people that were very generous) @ 1500 usd total. After server and web costs that would leave me with @ 60 usd a year in donations. There are some weeks (I know the same applies to Legolash) I spend 40+ hours in development. It is a pretty big slap in the face to tell someone that you use their app and like it allot only to then say the above.

Thats so lame and rude. Don't be a sheep!
-
Umm sure as soon as EVERYONE that uses it donates so Lego can afford a team and better compilers, so on and so forth.
-
How many general users and noobs are going to know this though? Millions are going to get screwed. -- http://www.forbes.co...skydrive-users/ Partial case in point

http://www.wincert.n...ossibly-hackers Moderatly illegal except in countries that uphold the fact of the license eula MS has put in. (Most of them really)
-
To this extent yes. Previous os's could dial home to activate\genuine-ize. Win8 will regularly report home with "Statistics" though. http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/156585-features-and-options-removed-in-windows-8/

I will NEVER use it though due to these main reasons: DVD\Blueray support is gone. (Codes and licenses cost too much, REALLY MS?) Win8 can and will dial home and tell MS what you download and install. Those are my main 2 reasons.

mooms = I am truly disappointed you feel like that, let me point some things out: Nearly none of you have paid for the development and use of the toolkit. For quality control and the ability to guarantee clean, unmolested and unmodified versions Lego does not want people publicly distributing it. It is HIS program he made it and as stated earlier it is free. You don't have to pay for it. His program is not actually BETA it is just being actively developed. If you just wanted to help others you would help with development instead of slowing it down. Most of the people who just want to use his program don't give a rats behind enough to even bother with saying hi or thanks anyways. If you find that his program is a disappointment and don't want to help with development (Possibly also holding it back by allowing others to just "stick" with a working one) Then just plain stop using the toolkit and stay out of this forum section. Bottom line is it is his program, we have to respect his wishes. Otherwise he can decide (Justly so the way you treated him in the last post) to fully remove and discontinue it... Did you pay enough for the toolkit to actually say that? Come on really???
-
Actually yes you can as it is YOUR program! Redistribution is COMPLETLY up to you!

Windows 7 Toolkit v1.4.0.x Feedback / Issues / Bugs
Kelsenellenelvian replied to RicaNeaga's topic in Win Toolkit
I believe it is a old issue that has reared its ugly head again. a looooooooooooong time ago the Toolkit was not properly adding reg files. -
Can I ask WHY your Win7 installation is taking up SO mauch space? The AVERAGE Win7 installation (Not including hyberfile and pagefile) is less than 15gigs. My Win7 x64 Ultimate installation I reinstalled a week ago is only 20.3 gigs after having all of my progs installed and ALL updates. After a quick test a Base Win7 ultiamte install on a 2gig ram system is 8.3gigs.

I already gave you one warning for the idiot thing. Do it one more time and I will ban you...

Ummm yeah NOW your age truly shows.

Current Users! The 5 "core" user files HAVE to be moved to the new "UserFiles" Directory BEFORE your WPI will work as normal!!! Move from wpiscripts directory: config.js networkoptions.js themeoptions.js useroptions.js windowoptions.js To the NEW UserFiles directory! Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI for short) is a hypertext application designed for giving users choice. While Windows XP offers many ways of customizing the setup process out of the box, its major drawback is the lack of being able to select which applications an end user may install. In the past, end users and administrators needed to either download the files manually, or create overly complex scripts that could only be used once. WPI allows you to create one image, which can then be custom configured, and optionally, automated, so that end users can install any applications. WPI is a simple to use automation program for the choice and installation of multiple programs, tweaks and scripts. No longer will you need a dozen CD's or more when doing a fresh Installation. No longer will you need multiple files when you are servicing another PC. With Windows Post-Install Wizard all that you will need is 1 or 2 CD\DVD's to fully install your PC with all of your apps, scripts, registry files or tweaks. Instead of having to re-download those apps like adobe reader, flash or updates to programs you can have them all on one disk. With WPI you can have all of them all on one disk and then have a nice interface for selecting which apps to install and after configured properly WPI will install all of them without any needed input from you. WPI also and is commonly used added to your windows installation disks. This way you can automate the complete process of Windows and program installations. With your typical setup of WPI you have your OS and all of the apps, tweaks and such on one disk. After windows installs, WPI kicks in and you are given a selection of everything you have configured WPI with, then you can select the ones you want or simply let the timer run out and your default apps will install. Known Bugs\Issues! You cannot minimize the installer window. You cannot "click 'n drag to highlight items. Enabling this exposes a bug that causes instabilities. The rewind button DOES NOT work on the media player... (Probably never has) Nero 7 messes with the IE scripting engine and WPI will not work if Nero 7 has been installed or is currently installed. HOWEVER, This link to Nero Clean tool --> HERE has been reported to fix this issue. So if you wish to use WPI and have had Nero7 installed you will want to "clean" your system first. Midi files should NOT be used if you are copying the audio to harddrive! (use MP3 Files!) Change log!!! (Below in the spoiler section) v8.6.1 Updates - Released September 4th, 2012 ==================================================== *** Fixed GetOSvernum. *** Restored installer window size. *** More language localization fixes. _____________________________________________________________________ I seperated ALL themes except for the Win7 theme out from the main archive. There is also a little box near the bottom that tells it to run as adminstrator... -
... Sure if your choice is to use a sledge hammer and dynamite, when a scalpel is needed. rt7lite, while doing its job is a very brutish, hackerish p.o.s. Especially when it comes to integratging WMP, IE or a SP... ... (Kinda like saying Hitler was good at crowd control) Besides development stopped 2+ years ago and has been complelty discontinued...!
