Ok you cannot remove ie6 and then add ie8. IE8 is built on the frame of IE6 it won't work that way. What you need to do is get a utility like regshot and "catch" the reg entries when you install and configure avant. Then just add those in in anyway you add reg files (there are a dozen or so ways for that...)

Are you using the toolkit on a company network at all? Did you run the toolkit as a admin and are you on a non limited account? WHERE EXACTLY does the down-loader freeze?
