  1. I don't know man the silent installer was really nothin but trouble. Lots of people tried to use it to update their systems that had uberpack installed and it coughed up errors. Plus the one time I didn't get the damned thing updated quickly enough someone posted a mod of it and really just pissed me off.
  2. This adds a preview and tools menu to the right click on almost all common image formats. Part of this http://www.softpedia.com/get/Desktop-Enhan...sion-Pack.shtml Shell extension pack... Size - 467 kb MD5Hash = a602e883d2e2a1ae5d7cc51db436023b
  3. @ = grzegorzo - Not without a link and DON'T HIJACK THREADS!!!
  4. Actually these addons are made to be added to the HOTFIXES section. The automatically add the files and the needed runonce entries\whatnot. Just select them with your hotfixes other addons...
  5. First off the uberpack has NOTHING todo with skinning at all. I doesn't change the appearance of your windows AT ALL. You have a pirated version of Windows I strongly suggest you use your legal copy todo a re-install and don't blame me for others f-ups!
  6. One of 4 ways: Using nLite you add it as a hotfix in the hotifxes page. <-- Pre-installation. Using the RVM integrator you add it into the addons part. < Pre installation. Most of them (Remember I said MOST) can be extacted and you simply right click on the extracted inf and choose "Install", Or you run the incuded silent installer depending on the addon type. < Post-installation. Or WITH LOTS OF LUBRITCIATION!!! Get it? No? Darn...
  7. Did you even LOOK at the first post and the file size?? He shows how to register and that the package is very small @22 megs...
  8. HEY I had one of those ones on the top... IT was a T-1 something or other.
  9. Hmmm no I don't think I agree with a "Rip" of my pack. However you are free to build your OWN pack from the ground up with the tools you desire in it. Then release it.
  10. Moving to the proper forum section.
  11. I'll Take it!!! I love putting them in USB powered enclosures and using them for backups. I have a 100gig 5200 rpm one right now.
  12. Actually on second thought it could be done but it would be extremly difficult.
  13. It is a reverse icon patch! It makes XP look like 2000 and replaces xp resources with 2000 resources.
  14. Reformatt. You bought a pc with an illegal copy of windows on it...
  15. Mines a teeny bit smaller and uses an inf file. His doesn't use one...
  16. I am pretty sure mine was memory related because at the time I only had a gig of ram.
  17. Here is my entry: <-- Click to see the full image!!!
  18. Actually I used winrar to package them. Like you figured out 7zip just can't handle that big a folder... Simply make them into a winrar sfx and add the comment from the old ones. (Choose "Open with winrar" to see the comments)
  19. Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI for short) is a hypertext application designed for giving users choice. While Windows XP offers many ways of customizing the setup process out of the box, its major drawback is the lack of being able to select which applications an end user may install. In the past, end users and administrators needed to either download the files manually, or create overly complex scripts that could only be used once. WPI allows you to create one image, which can then be custom configured, and optionally, automated, so that end users can install any applications that have been configured into WPI. Notes and Extras Suggested disk folder layout: With the above folder layout all your config entries should read like: %wpipath%\Install\Blah.exe] Here is a small tutorial on how to add an app to WPI! Ok this is a sample (Very simple) configuration for CCleaner (A.K.A Crap Cleaner) This assumes you have all of the WPI files either in the WPI folder at the root of your Windows cd or all of the WPI folders (Common, Graphics, WPIScripts, Tools, Install and Themes) and the file WPI.hta at the root of your cd. Remember this is just the most basic and required entries for a program! #1 Download the app and place it in the WPI\Install Folder. (CCleaner.exe in this example) #2 Run WPI.hta and click on the "Config" button\Icon area. #3 Choose the button at the very top above the config section that says "Add" #4 Enter in the name section "CCleaner" <--No quotes! Then click on any other section of the config area to activate the rest of the wizard. #5 You will notice the Unique ID section gets automatically configured for you. #6 All apps are selected to be installed by default right from the start so if you don't want it selected by default you must uncheck this box. Also you can decide if you want this app to be a "Forced Install" or not. #7 Choose a category for your app to be displayed in. If you want the app to be displayed in a category you don?t see simply chose other and a box will appear that will allow the entry of you choice. #8 In the Command 1 section click on the little folder icon and browse to the WPI\Install folder and select the CCleaner.exe installer, this will place the full path to the installer in the commandline. #9 Add the necessary switches for the program to run silently i.e. "%wpipath%\Install\CCleaner.exe" /s (This can be easily done for most standard apps by simply clicking on the USSF button on the far right of the commandline.) #10 Select the Save and then the Exit buttons and you have now configured your first app! Afterwards you can use an app like nLite, vLite, CDImageGUI or the Makeiso program included in the tools archive to make your CD w\WPI bootable again. MakeIso.exe = Adds "make bootable iso" to the right click menu of folders. It is a silent installer so DO NOT click on it 50x a simple double click is all that is need to install it. It can be uninstalled from the add\remove programs menu! Just go to the "Source" folder (The one that contains I386 and WPI) and right click then select MakeISO... _____________________________________________________________________ I have seperated the tools out from the main archive.
