  1. I've got the REAL Speed Racer movie. Yeah it's animated, it came with a hologram watch and the movie was awesome.
  2. I watched the sneak preview on Sci-Fi. It looks like it'll be a horrible disgrace. They even messed up the car, made it look too "modernized".

  4. Start > Run > cmd net user USERNAME PASSWORD Say I want to reset JoeUser's password to no password. I'd enter this into the command prompt: net user JoeUser *
  5. Wonder if this works for XP.
  6. I plant o go see it, but I've been reading mixed reviews about it. Apparently there are some loose ends in the movie.
  7. "non-selected"?
  8. You can use MR.Tech's Local Install https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/421
  9. Try doing that without an Internet connection. I bet you it won't work.
  10. Thanks for the link.
  11. If you have an ISO editor, you can do as chris.b mentioned. That would probably be your best bet.
  12. I actually don't use the tab based skins. There's just something about them I don't care for at all. Even now I'm using Xmas Notab and I rather like it.
  13. Reduce load by using/offering skins like the IP.Pro Board skin. Since they're pure CSS that reduces load a lot.
  14. Yeah I was asking about a link to that Google report. A few years ago I bought a portable pocket hard drive (5GB) made by Seagate and it's worked perfectly.
  15. Hidden? This is built in to Windows and it's well known. Google SIW, it tells you plenty and is freeware.
  16. Wow. If you don't pay, the game seriously sucks.
  17. Have a link, by chance? In all of my experiences, Seagate is the best (topped with a 5 year warranty!)
  18. From my experiences, Seagate is the best you can get. They even have great warranties on their hardware.
  19. One of my replacements just arrived. 160GB 7200RPM Hitachi SATA2 drive. They told me it was going to be a Seagate, so I called and told them and they simply apologized. After giving them some grief they told me as per customer satisfaction, I will be getting a replacement hard drive made by Seagate.
  20. How old were your Hitachi and WD drives?
  21. Who are your drive manufacturers? Both good and bad. I wouldn't mind finding out as I'm replacing one of my HDDs from bad sectors.
  22. HDTune can tell you a lot about your drives, including the SMART status. http://www.hdtune.com/ 39 (102f) is a bit warm, but nothing really bad, and 46 (114.8f) is getting a little warm depending on the drive. Currently, my primary computer's HDD is running at 29c (84f). How old are your drive(s)?
  23. Speeds depend on the hardware itself.
  24. You removed a required DLL that handles treeviews. Your best bet is like N1K said, format C: and reinstall from your original Windows cd. Unfortunately you've learned the hard way why every tech or pc expert with common sense will recommend that you avoid nLite/vLite. It strips out services and other necessary features in a very dangerous and malicious manner. nLite/vLite is not needed, even in this day and age. Hard drives are more than large enough, and RAM is plentiful in size and affordable. A regular install of Windows works perfectly for every purpose needed.
  25. ddrescue seems to do the best job at copying/mirroring a hard drive.
