  3. LOL. I didn't even think that it could be dirty. That could be a possibility.
  4. I would suggest taking the side panel off, turn the PC back on and when the noise starts, lightly push on the fan to see if the noise stops. You may have a loose part on your card and may need to find out what. You could also remove the card and place it back in to see if that helps. I have never came across this problem and it will be hard to figure out without actually seeing/hearing the issue.
  5. I hope all goes well. Most of us understand and know how things can get.

  12. Thanks ccl0. I had 147 bad sectors repaired but there was still a issue with the HDD. I ran it again and it picked up 4 bad sectors before I canceled it. I will check those tools out.

  14. Thanks, I am working on a 160G Lappy HDD. It found 40 bad sectors at the beginning (before 1%) and now it's @ 61.95% and has been working on around 100. I still have away to go and hope soon to hit a good patch again. LOL. I also planned on running it a 2nd time.

  17. Yeah if the driver reinstall doesn't work, get a new one. They are around 20-30 usd at the moment. I got my Samsung x18 for 20usd at MicroCenter
  18. Hey Lego. I have a few questions on making addons for 7. Under [CopyFolder], do you add all of the other folder names also, plus the folders? Ex. System32 etc.
  19. Try to uninstall the driver and reboot. Then let the driver install automatically. I was burning through USB for awhile and I had issues burning. I forgot that I was burning a DVD and it ran for over a half hour. I could stop or eject at times.
  20. HMMMM. This used to love ZL until I started using NOD. Thanks for the find.
  21. Thanks N1K. I have it bookmarked for when I have time to read it.
  22. You have to double click on the icon in that folder and then it will install XP. No need for a XPCD.
  23. I have Virtualization on my AMD, but I didn't care for Virtual PC. I will stick with VMware for now, but maybe I will check it out since it's out of beta.
  24. I don't know about that.
