OK, I seem to always have a issue with Explorer.exe on my XPCD's. Does anyone else have this issue? What could be causing it?

  8. OK, it has been around 2 years since I have used remote access, what are some good programs. I think I was using RAdmin and DameWare back then. I am looking for something that it not web based. Thank you.
  9. Thanks N1K. I wasn't sure. I thought that the speed should have been the same. I was burning a movie off my network and it was uploading at 2mb, sucks though becuse it took 50 minutes to burn it. LOL
  10. OK, when I am seeding or uploading to a share site, I can only get a 45kb upload and when I am downloading a movie etc. from a on my network, I will get around 2mb upload.
  11. Ok, when I upload files etc, I can only get around 45kb but when I am transfering in my network, I get around 2m. Can someone explain why? Thank you
  12. OK, now I understand. Yeah, it does suck that it's not secure no matter.
  13. Ok, I got rid of Network Magic and set it up through XP. I also set up the WPE encryption on 64bit. I am still playing around with this, if you have any suggestions, please let me know.
  14. Oh, NP. I understand, It's like asking a PC person something about Mac or Linux. The information you gave me looks good enough, I just have to see where it is on this router. Thanks, you are the only one out of 30+ views to help.
  15. NP, N1K. I have time to figure it out. Unfortunately, the only manual that came with it was instruction on installing the CD. LOL. I am sure I could figure it out, was just hoping to save time with some insight.
  16. Thanks N1K. The reason why I got that router was because it was 15.99 after mail in rebate, also got a wireless USB for 7.99. So far things are great (after trial and error, LOL). I am getting around 85-95% signal I can access shared drives etc. I would like some help, it's been over a year since I set a network, IP addresses etc. I did around 30 computers in school, and that was wiring, patch panels etc. I can't figure out how to enable router firewall. It says that its a wireless firewall, so not sure if I have to enable the feature. I don't know how to Enable WEP encryption etc. I am not sure how to do this "Setup your router to connect to internet on demand." I can access the inter net and the shared items from the other computer so I believe that wireless connection is enabled. So if you could help, I would appreciate it. I have a topic with my IM if you want to add me for it. THANKS
  17. OK. I have the printer setup now and also got it set to share folders from either computer. I am using NetworkMagic at the moment and only have a free trial for 7 days. Is there any other programs better than this??? I still need information on securing my Wi-Fi. Thank you.
  18. Ok, I just built a PC for my mom. I got a wireless firewall router (TRENDnet TEW-432BRP). I have never used wireless before. I have her PC setup online, but I want to prevent others from accessing my connection and I also want to add my printer so she could print from it. Also, any info on what I need to know etc. THANKS

The interface you see, is from a "Vista" Theme. Here is a AIO Vista Themes Addon that I created. What you would do is integrate that into your XPCD, enable the uxtheme.dll and copy the uxtheme.dll in the i386 folder of your XPCD.

    My custom made ones.
  21. I never used this, it was a request. The only shorcuts that install from the program it's self is the .exe and uninstaller. I believe anything else you need to do manually.
